Leviticus 2:1When any one shall offer an oblation of sacrifice to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense,And when any will offer a meat-offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense upon it.
Leviticus 2:2And shall bring it to the sons of Aaron the priests: and one of them shall take a handful of the flour and oil, and all the frankincense, and shall put it a memorial upon the altar for a most sweet savour to the Lord. And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take out of it his handful of its flour, and of its oil, with all its frankincense; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD:
Leviticus 2:3And the remnant of the sacrifice shall be Aaron's, and his sons', holy of holies of the offerings of the Lord. And the remnant of the meat-offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
Leviticus 2:4But when thou offerest a sacrifice baked in the oven of flour, to wit, loaves without leaven, tempered with oil, and unleavened wafers, anointed with oil:And if thou shalt bring an oblation of a meat-offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
Leviticus 2:5If thy oblation be from the fryingpan, of flour tempered with oil, and without leaven,And if thy oblation shall be a meat-offering baked in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
Leviticus 2:6Thou shalt divide it into little pieces, and shalt pour oil upon it.Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil upon it: it is a meat-offering.
Leviticus 2:7And if the sacrifice be from the gridiron, in like manner the flour shall be tempered with oil:And if thy oblation shall be a meat-offering baked in the frying-pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
Leviticus 2:8And when thou offerest it to the Lord, thou shalt deliver it to the hands of the priest. And thou shalt bring the meat-offering that is made of these things to the LORD: and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.
Leviticus 2:9And when he hath offered it, he shall take a memorial out of the sacrifice, and burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour to the Lord. And the priest shall take from the meat-offering a memorial of it, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD.
Leviticus 2:10And whatsoever is left, shall be Aaron's, and his sons', holy of holies of the offerings of the Lord. And that which is left of the meat-offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy, of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
Leviticus 2:11Every oblation that is offered to the Lord shall be made without leaven, neither shall any leaven or honey be burnt in the sacrifice to the Lord.No meat-offering which ye shall bring to the LORD shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
Leviticus 2:12You shall offer only the firstfruits of them and gifts: but they shall not be put upon the altar, for a savour of sweetness,As for the oblation of the first-fruits, ye shall offer them to the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savor.
Leviticus 2:13Whatsoever sacrifice thou offerest, thou shalt season it with salt, neither shalt thou take away the salt of the covenant of thy God from thy sacrifice. In all thy oblations thou shalt offer salt. And every oblation of thy meat-offering shalt thou season with salt: neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat-offering: with all thy offerings thou shalt offer salt.
Leviticus 2:14But if thou offer a gift of the firstfruits of thy corn to the Lord, of the ears yet green, thou shalt dry it at the fire, and break it small like meal, and so shalt thou offer thy firstfruits to the Lord,And if thou shalt offer a meat-offering of thy first-fruits to the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat-offering of thy first-fruits, green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
Leviticus 2:15Pouring oil upon it and putting on frankincense, because it is the oblation of the Lord. And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense upon it: it is a meat-offering.
Leviticus 2:16Whereof the priest shall burn for a memorial of the gift, part of the corn broken small and of the oil, and all the frankincense. And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of its beaten corn, and part of its oil, with all its frankincense: it is an offering made by fire to the LORD.
