| Romans 5:1 | Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ: | Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ: | Standing then acquitted as the result of faith, let us enjoy peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, |
| Romans 5:2 | By whom also we have access through faith into this grace, wherein we stand, and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God. | By whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. | through whom also, as the result of faith, we have obtained an introduction into that state of favour with God in which we stand, and we exult in hope of some day sharing in God's glory. |

For if through the offense of one many are dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded to many. | But God's free gift immeasurably outweighs the transgression. For if through the transgression of the one individual the mass of mankind have died, infinitely greater is the generosity with which God's grace, and the gift given in His grace which found expression in the one man Jesus Christ, have been bestowed on the mass of mankind. |

For judgment indeed was by one unto condemnation; but grace is of many offences, unto justification. | And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification. | And it is not with the gift as it was with the results of one individual's sin; for the judgement which one individual provoked resulted in condemnation, whereas the free gift after a multitude of transgressions results in acquittal. |
