Romans 5:1Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
Romans 5:2By whom also we have access through faith into this grace, wherein we stand, and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God.By whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:3And not only so; but we glory also in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience;And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance;
Romans 5:4And patience trial; and trial hope;And patience, experience; and experience, hope:and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:
Romans 5:5And hope confoundeth not: because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, who is given to us.And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit which is given to us.and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given to us.
Romans 5:6For why did Christ, when as yet we were weak, according to the time, die for the ungodly?For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:7For scarce for a just man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man some one would dare to die.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die.For one will hardly die for a righteous man. For perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die.
Romans 5:8But God commendeth his charity towards us; because when as yet we were sinners, according to the time,But God commendeth his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:9Christ died for us; much more therefore, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him.
Romans 5:10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
Romans 5:11And not only so; but also we glory in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received reconciliation.And not only so, but we also joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Romans 5:12Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world, and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men, in whom all have sinned.Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 5:13For until the law sin was in the world; but sin was not imputed, when the law was not.For until the law, sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.
Romans 5:14But death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even over them also who have not sinned after the similitude of the transgression of Adam, who is a figure of him who was to come.Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.
Romans 5:15But not as the offence, so also the gift. For if by the offence of one, many died; much more the grace of God, and the gift, by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many are dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded to many.But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
Romans 5:16And not as it was by one sin, so also is the gift. For judgment indeed was by one unto condemnation; but grace is of many offences, unto justification.And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification.The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.
Romans 5:17For if by one man's offence death reigned through one; much more they who receive abundance of grace, and of the gift, and of justice, shall reign in life through one, Jesus Christ.For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they who receive abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:18Therefore, as by the offence of one, unto all men to condemnation; so also by the justice of one, unto all men to justification of life.Therefore, as by the offense of one, judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men to justification of life.So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.
Romans 5:19For as by the disobedience of one man, many were made sinners; so also by the obedience of one, many shall be made just.For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one will many be made righteous.
Romans 5:20Now the law entered in, that sin might abound. And where sin abounded, grace did more abound.Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly;
Romans 5:21That as sin hath reigned to death; so also grace might reign by justice unto life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord.That as sin hath reigned to death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life, by Jesus Christ our Lord.that as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
