| Hebrews 3:1 | Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly vocation, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Jesus: | Therefore, holy brethren, sharers with others in a heavenly invitation, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest whose followers we profess to be. | Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, [even] Jesus; |

| Hebrews 3:14 | For we are made partakers of Christ: yet so, if we hold the beginning of his substance firm unto the end. | For we have, all alike, become sharers with Christ, if we really hold our first confidence firm to the End; | for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end: |

Was it not with them that sinned, whose carcasses were overthrown in the desert? | And with whom was God so greatly grieved for forty years? Was it not with those who had sinned, and whose dead bodies fell in the Desert? | And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? |
| Hebrews 3:18 | And to whom did he swear, that they should not enter into his rest: but to them that were incredulous? | And to whom did He swear that they should not be admitted to His rest, if it was not to those who were disobedient? | And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient? |
| Hebrews 3:19 | And we see that they could not enter in, because of unbelief. | And so we see that it was owing to lack of faith that they could not be admitted. | And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief. |
