| John 15:1 | If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and do abide in his love. | "I am the Vine the True Vine, and my Father is the vine-dresser. | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. |
| John 15:11 | These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be filled. | Every branch in me if it bears no fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. | Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit. |
| John 15:12 | This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. | Already you are cleansed through the teaching which I have given you. | Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you. |

| John 15:25 | But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated me without cause. | It is not you who chose me, but it is I who chose you and appointed you that you might go and be fruitful and that your fruit might remain; so that whatever petition you present to the Father in my name He may give you. | Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. |
