Luke 22:1 | Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the pasch, was at hand. | Meanwhile the Festival of the Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, | Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. |
Luke 22:2 | And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put Jesus to death: but they feared the people. | and the High Priests and the Scribes were contriving how to destroy Him. Follow him into the house to which he goes, | And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth. |
Luke 22:11 | And you shall say to the goodman of the house: The master saith to thee, Where is the guest chamber, where I may eat the pasch with my disciples? | and say to the master of the house, "`The Rabbi asks you, Where is the room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples?' | And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? |
Luke 22:12 | And he will shew you a large dining room, furnished; and there prepare. | "And he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. There make your preparations." | And he will show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. |

Luke 22:19 | And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Luke 22:20 | In like manner the chalice also, after he had supped, saying: This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you. | He gave them the cup in like manner, when the meal was over. "This cup," He said, "is the new Covenant ratified by my blood which is to be poured out on your behalf. | And the cup in like manner after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, [even] that which is poured out for you. |
Luke 22:21 | But yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. | Yet the hand of him who is betraying me is at the table with me. | But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. |
Luke 22:22 | And the Son of man indeed goeth, according to that which is determined: but yet, woe to that man by whom he shall be betrayed. | For indeed the Son of Man goes on His way His pre-destined way; yet alas for that man who is betraying Him!" | For the Son of man indeed goeth, as it hath been determined: but woe unto that man through whom he is betrayed! |

Luke 22:26 | But you not so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is the leader, as he that serveth. | With you it is not so; but let the greatest among you be as the younger, and the leader be like him who serves. | But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. |
Luke 22:27 | For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? Is it not he that sitteth at table? But I am in the midst of you, as he that serveth: | For which is the greater he who sits at table, or he who waits on him? Is it not he who sits at table? But my position among you is that of one who waits on others. | For which is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth. |
Luke 22:28 | And you are they who have continued with me in my temptations: | You however have remained with me amid my trials; | But ye are they that have continued with me in my temptations; |
Luke 22:29 | And I dispose to you, as my Father hath disposed to me, a kingdom; | and I covenant to give you, as my Father has covenanted to give me, a Kingdom | and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me, |
Luke 22:30 | That you may eat and drink at my table, in my kingdom: and may sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. | so that you shall eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones as judges over the twelve tribes of Israel. | that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. |

Luke 22:32 | But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren. | But *I* have prayed for *you* that your faith may not fail, and you, when at last you have come back to your true self, must strengthen your brethren." | but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren. |

Luke 22:35 | When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, did you want anything? | Then He asked them, "When I sent you out without purse or bag or shoes, was there anything you needed?" "No, nothing," they replied. | And he said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing. |
Luke 22:36 | But they said: Nothing. Then said he unto them: But now he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a scrip; and he that hath not, let him sell his coat, and buy a sword. | "But now," said He, "let the one who has a purse take it, and he who has a bag must do the same. And let him who has no sword sell his outer garment and buy one. | And he said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword. |
Luke 22:37 | For I say to you, that this that is written must yet be fulfilled in me: And with the wicked was he reckoned. For the things concerning me have an end. | For I tell you that those words of Scripture must yet find their fulfilment in me: `And He was reckoned among the lawless'; for indeed that saying about me has its accomplishment." | For I say unto you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in me, And he was reckoned with transgressors: for that which concerneth me hath fulfilment. |
Luke 22:38 | But they said: Lord, behold here are two swords. And he said to them, It is enough. | "Master, here are two swords," they exclaimed. "That is enough," He replied. | And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. |

Luke 22:40 | And when he was come to the place, he said to them: Pray, lest ye enter into temptation. | But when He arrived at the place, He said to them, "Pray that you may not come into temptation." | And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. |

Luke 22:42 | Saying: Father, if thou wilt, remove this chalice from me: but yet not my will, but thine be done. | "Father, if it be Thy will, take this cup away from me; yet not my will but Thine be done!" | saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. |
Luke 22:43 | And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony, he prayed the longer. | And there appeared to Him an angel from Heaven, strengthening Him; | And there appeared unto him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. |
Luke 22:44 | And his sweat became as drops of blood, trickling down upon the ground. | while He an agony of distress having come upon Him prayed all the more with intense earnestness, and His sweat became like clots of blood dropping on the ground. | And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground. |

Luke 22:48 | And Jesus said to him: Judas, dost thou betray the Son of man with a kiss? | "Judas," said Jesus, "are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?" | But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? |
Luke 22:49 | And they that were about him, seeing what would follow, said to him: Lord, shall we strike with the sword? | Those who were about Him, seeing what was likely to happen, asked Him, "Master, shall we strike with the sword?" | And when they that were about him saw what would follow, they said, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? |

Luke 22:67 | And he saith to them: If I shall tell you, you will not believe me. | "Are you the Christ? Tell us." "If I tell you," He replied, "you will certainly not believe; | If thou art the Christ, tell us. But he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: |
Luke 22:68 | And if I shall also ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go. | and if I ask you questions, you will certainly not answer. | and if I ask [you], ye will not answer. |
Luke 22:69 | But hereafter the Son of man shall be sitting on the right hand of the power of God. | But from this time forward the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of God's omnipotence." | But from henceforth shall the Son of man be seated at the right hand of the power of God. |
Luke 22:70 | Then said they all: Art thou then the Son of God? Who said: You say that I am. | Thereupon they cried out with one voice, "You, then, are the Son of God?" Luke 22:71 | And they said: What need we any further testimony? for we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth. | "What need have we of further evidence?" they said; "for we ourselves have heard it from his own lips." | And they said, What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth. |
