| Romans 14:1 | Now him that is weak in faith, take unto you: not in disputes about thoughts. | I now pass to another subject. Receive as a friend a man whose faith is weak, but not for the purpose of deciding mere matters of opinion. | But him that is weak in faith receive ye, [yet] not for decision of scruples. |
| Romans 14:2 | For one believeth that he may eat all things: but he that is weak, let him eat herbs. | One man's faith allows him to eat anything, while a man of weaker faith eats nothing but vegetables. | One man hath faith to eat all things: but he that is weak eateth herbs. |
| Romans 14:3 | Let not him that eateth, despise him that eateth not: and he that eateth not, let him not judge him that eateth.
