| Galatians 5:1 | Stand fast, and be not held again under the yoke of bondage. | Christ having made us gloriously free stand fast and do not again be hampered with the yoke of slavery. | Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage. |
| Galatians 5:2 | Behold, I Paul tell you, that if you be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. | Remember that it is I Paul who tell you that if you receive circumcision Christ will avail you nothing. | Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. |
