| Matthew 24:1 | And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple. | Jesus had left the Temple and was going on His way, when His disciples came and called His attention to the Temple buildings. | And Jesus went forth and went away from the temple, and his disciples came to [him] to point out to him the buildings of the temple. |
| Matthew 24:2 | And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed. | "You see all these?" He replied; "in solemn truth I tell you that there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be pulled down." | And he answering said to them, Do ye not see all these things? Verily I say to you, Not a stone shall be left here upon a stone which shall not be thrown down. |
| Matthew 24:3 | And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world? | Afterwards He was on the Mount of Olives and was seated there when the disciples came to Him, apart from the others, and said, "Tell us when this will be; and what will be the sign of your Coming and of the Close of the Age?" | And as he was sitting upon the mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be, and what is the sign of thy coming and [the] completion of the age? |
| Matthew 24:4 | And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you: | "Take care that no one misleads you," answered Jesus; | And Jesus answering said to them, See that no one mislead you. |
| Matthew 24:5 | For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many. | "for many will come assuming my name and saying `I am the Christ;' and they will mislead many. | For many shall come in my name, saying, *I* am the Christ, and they shall mislead many. |
| Matthew 24:6 | And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. | And before long you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. Do not be alarmed, for such things must be; but the End is not yet. | But ye will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not disturbed; for all [these things] must take place, but it is not yet the end. |
| Matthew 24:7 | For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places: | For nation will rise in arms against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places; | For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. |
| Matthew 24:8 | Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows. | but all these miseries are but like the early pains of childbirth. | But all these [are the] beginning of throes. |
| Matthew 24:9 | Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake. | "At that time they will deliver you up to punishment and will put you to death; and you will be objects of hatred to all the nations because you are called by my name. | Then shall they deliver you up to tribulation, and shall kill you; and ye will be hated of all the nations for my name's sake. |

| Matthew 24:12 | And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold. | and because of the prevalent disregard of God's law the love of the great majority will grow cold; | and because lawlessness shall prevail, the love of the most shall grow cold; |
| Matthew 24:13 | But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved. | but those who stand firm to the End shall be saved. | but he that has endured to the end, *he* shall be saved. |
| Matthew 24:14 | And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come. | And this Good News of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world to set the evidence before all the Gentiles; and then the End will come. | And these glad tidings of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole habitable earth, for a witness to all the nations, and then shall come the end. |

| Matthew 24:17 | And he that is on the housetop, let him not come down to take any thing out of his house: | let him who is on the roof not go down to fetch what is in his house; | let not him that is on the house come down to take the things out of his house; |
| Matthew 24:18 | And he that is in the field, let him not go back to take his coat. | nor let him who is outside the city stay to pick up his outer garment. | and let not him that is in the field turn back to take his garment. |
| Matthew 24:19 | And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days. | And alas for the women who at that time are with child or have infants! | But woe to those that are with child, and those that give suck in those days. |
| Matthew 24:20 | But pray that your flight be not in the winter, or on the sabbath. | "But pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on the Sabbath; | But pray that your flight may not be in winter time nor on sabbath: |
| Matthew 24:21 | For there shall be then great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be. | for it will be a time of great suffering, such as never has been from the beginning of the world till now, and assuredly never will be again. | for then shall there be great tribulation, such as has not been from [the] beginning of [the] world until now, nor ever shall be; |
| Matthew 24:22 | And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. | And if those days had not been cut short, no one would escape; but for the sake of God's own People those days will be cut short. | and if those days had not been cut short, no flesh had been saved; but on account of the elect those days shall be cut short. |
