Philippians 4:1Therefore, my dearly beloved brethren, and most desired, my joy and my crown; so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. Therefore, my brethren, dearly loved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, my dearly-loved ones. Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Philippians 4:2I beg of Evodia, and I beseech Syntyche, to be of one mind in the Lord.I entreat Euodia, and I entreat Syntyche, to be of one mind, as sisters in Christ.I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 4:3And I entreat thee also, my sincere companion, help those women who have laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement and the rest of my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.Yes, and I beg you also, my faithful yoke-fellow, to help these women who have shared my toil in connection with the Good News, together with Clement and the rest of my fellow labourers, whose names are recorded in the Book of Life. And I entreat thee also, true yoke-fellow, help those women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow-laborers, whose names are in the book of life.
Philippians 4:4Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I say, rejoice.Always be glad in the Lord: I will repeat it, be glad.Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:5Let your modesty be known to all men. The Lord is nigh.Let your forbearing spirit be known to every one the Lord is near.Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Philippians 4:6Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God.Do not be over-anxious about anything, but by prayer and earnest pleading, together with thanksgiving, let your request be unreservedly made known in the presence of God.Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. And then the peace of God, which transcends all our powers of thought, will be a garrison to guard your hearts and minds in union with Christ Jesus. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:8For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever modest, whatsoever just, whatsoever holy, whatsoever lovely, whatsoever of good fame, if there be any virtue, if any praise of discipline, think on these things. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever wins respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovable, whatever is of good repute if there is any virtue or anything deemed worthy of praise cherish the thought of these things. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:9The things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these do ye, and the God of peace shall be with you.The doctrines and the line of conduct which I taught you both what you heard and what you saw in me hold fast to them; and God who gives peace will be with you. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:10Now I rejoice in the Lord exceedingly, that now at length your thought for me hath flourished again, as you did also think; but you were busied. But I rejoice with a deep and holy joy that now at length you have revived your thoughtfulness for my welfare. Indeed you have always been thoughtful for me, although opportunity failed you.But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:11I speak not as it were for want. For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, to be content therewith.I do not refer to this through fear of privation, for (for my part) I have learned, whatever be my outward experiences, to be content. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, with that to be content.
Philippians 4:12I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to abound: (everywhere, and in all things I am instructed) both to be full, and to be hungry; both to abound, and to suffer need.I know both how to live in humble circumstances and how to live amid abundance. I am fully initiated into all the mysteries both of fulness and of hunger, of abundance and of want.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Philippians 4:13I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.I have strength for anything through Him who gives me power.I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:14Nevertheless you have done well in communicating to my tribulation.Yet I thank you for taking your share in my troubles.Notwithstanding ye have done well, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
Philippians 4:15And you also know, O Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but you only:And you men and women of Philippi also know that at the first preaching of the Good News, when I had left Macedonia, no other Church except yourselves held communication with me about giving and receiving; Now, ye Philippians, know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
Philippians 4:16For unto Thessalonica also you sent once and again for my use.because even in Thessalonica you sent several times to minister to my needs. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again to my necessity.
Philippians 4:17Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that may abound to your account. Not that I crave for gifts from you, but I do want to see abundant fruit bring you honour. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Philippians 4:18But I have all, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things you sent, an odour of sweetness, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.I have enough of everything and more than enough. My wants are fully satisfied now that I have received from the hands of Epaphroditus the generous gifts which you sent me they are a fragrant odor, an acceptable sacrifice, truly pleasing to God.But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
Philippians 4:19And may my God supply all your want, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. But my God so great is His wealth of glory in Christ Jesus will fully supply every need of yours. But my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:20Now to God and our Father be glory world without end. Amen. And to our God and Father be the glory throughout the Ages of the Ages! Amen. Now to God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:21Salute ye every saint in Christ Jesus. My Christian greetings to every one of God's people. The brethren who are with me send their greetings.Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you.
Philippians 4:22The brethren who are with me, salute you. All the saints salute you; especially they that are of Caesar's household. All God's people here greet you especially the members of Caesar's household. All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Cesar's household.
Philippians 4:23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirits. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
