| Exodus 31:9 | And of holocaust, and all their vessels, the laver with its foot, | | the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base, |
| Exodus 31:10 | The holy vestments in the ministry for Aaron the priest, and for his sons, that they may execute their office about the sacred things: | | the finely worked garments the holy garments for Aaron the priest the garments of his sons to minister in the priest's office, |
| Exodus 31:11 | The oil of unction, and the incense of spices in the sanctuary, all things which I have commanded thee, shall they make. | | the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do." |

| Exodus 31:13 | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: See that thou keep my sabbath: because it is a sign between me and you in your generations: that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctify you. | | "Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, 'Most assuredly you shall keep my Sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies you. |
| Exodus 31:14 | Keep you my sabbath: for it is holy unto you: he that shall profane it, shall be put to death: he that shall do my work in it, his soul shall perish out of the midst of his people. | | You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. |

Every one that shall do any work on this day, shall die. | | Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death. |
| Exodus 31:16 | Let the children of Israel keep the sabbath, and celebrate it in their generations. It is an everlasting covenant | | Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. |
