| Mark 16:1 | And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalen, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought sweet spices, that coming, they might anoint Jesus. | When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, in order to come and anoint His body. | And the sabbath having past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary of James, and Salome, bought spices, that having come, they may anoint him, |
| Mark 16:2 | And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they come to the sepulchre, the sun being now risen. | So, very soon after sunrise on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb; | and early in the morning of the first of the sabbaths, they come unto the sepulchre, at the rising of the sun, |
| Mark 16:3 | And they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulchre? | and they were saying to one another, `Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?" | and they said among themselves, `Who shall roll away for us the stone out of the door of the sepulchre?` |

It is Jesus you are looking for the Nazarene who has been crucified. | Mark 16:18 | They shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover. | They shall take up venomous snakes, and if they drink any deadly poison it shall do them no harm whatever. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover." | serpents they shall take up; and if any deadly thing they may drink, it shall not hurt them; on the ailing they shall lay hands, and they shall be well.` |
| Mark 16:19 | And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God. | So the Lord Jesus after having thus spoken to them was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. | The Lord, then, indeed, after speaking to them, was received up to the heaven, and sat on the right hand of God; |
