| Deuteronomy 21:1 | Then there shall be found in the land, which the Lord thy God will give thee, the corpse of a man slain, and it is not known who is guilty of the murder, | If one be found slain in the land which Yahweh your God gives you to possess it, lying in the field, and it isn't known who has struck him; | If one be found slain in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath smitten him; |
| Deuteronomy 21:2 | Thy ancients and judges shall go out, and shall measure from the place where the body lieth the distance of every city round about: | then your elders and your judges shall come forth, and they shall measure to the cities which are round about him who is slain: | then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: |
| Deuteronomy 21:3 | And the ancients of that city which they shall perceive to be nearer than the rest, shall take a heifer of the herd, that hath not drawn in the yoke, nor ploughed the ground, | and it shall be, that the city which is nearest to the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which hasn't been worked with, and which has not drawn in the yoke; | and it shall be, that the city which is nearest unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; |
