Leviticus 9:1And when the eighth day was come, Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the ancients of Israel, and said to Aaron:It happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;And on the eighth day Moses sent for Aaron and his sons and the responsible men of Israel;
Leviticus 9:2Take of the herd a calf for sin, and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.and he said to Aaron, Take a calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before Yahweh.And he said to Aaron, Take a young ox for a sin-offering and a male sheep for a burned offering, without a mark, and make an offering of them before the Lord.
Leviticus 9:3And to the children of Israel thou shalt say: Take ye a he goat for sin, and a calf, and a lamb, both of a year old, and without blemish for a holocaust,To the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, Take a male goat for a sin-offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering;And say to the children of Israel: Take a he-goat for a sin-offering, and a young ox and a lamb, in their first year, without any mark on them, for a burned offering;
Leviticus 9:4Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings: and immolate them before the Lord, offering for the sacrifice of every one of them flour tempered with oil; for to day the Lord will appear to you.and an ox and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Yahweh; and a meal-offering mingled with oil: for today Yahweh appears to you.And an ox and a male sheep for peace-offerings, to be put to death before the Lord; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for this day you are to see the Lord.
Leviticus 9:5They brought therefore all things that Moses had commanded before the door of the tabernacle: where when all the multitude stood,They brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Yahweh.And they took the things ordered by Moses, before the Tent of meeting, and all the people came near, waiting before the Lord.
Leviticus 9:6Moses said: This is the word, which the Lord hath commanded: do it, and his glory will appear to you.Moses said, This is the thing which Yahweh commanded that you should do: and the glory of Yahweh shall appear to you.And Moses said, This is what the Lord has said you are to do; and you will see the glory of the Lord.
Leviticus 9:7And he said to Aaron: Approach to the altar, and offer sacrifice for thy sin: offer the holocaust, and pray for thyself and for the people: and when thou hast slain the people's victim, pray for them, as the Lord hath commanded.Moses said to Aaron, Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin-offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as Yahweh commanded.And Moses said to Aaron, Come near to the altar and make your sin-offering and your burned offering to take away your sin and the sin of the people, and make the people's offering to take away their sin; as the Lord has given orders.
Leviticus 9:8And forthwith Aaron, approaching to the altar, immolated the calf for his sin:So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.So Aaron came near to the altar and put to death the ox for the sin-offering for himself;
Leviticus 9:9And his sons brought him the blood of it: and he dipped his finger therein, and touched the horns of the altar, and poured the rest at the foot thereof.The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:And the sons of Aaron gave him the blood and he put his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, draining out the blood at the base of the altar;
Leviticus 9:10And the fat, and the little kidneys, and the caul of the liver, which are for sin, he burnt upon the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses:but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin-offering, he burnt on the altar; as Yahweh commanded Moses.But the fat and the kidneys and the fat on the liver of the sin-offering were burned by him on the altar as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
Leviticus 9:11But the flesh and skins thereof he burnt with fire without the camp.The flesh and the skin he burnt with fire outside of the camp.And the flesh and the skin were burned with fire outside the tent-circle;
Leviticus 9:12He immolated also the victim of holocaust: and his sons brought him the blood thereof, which he poured round about on the altar.He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the altar round about.And he put to death the burned offering; and Aaron's sons gave him the blood and he put some of it on and round the altar;
Leviticus 9:13And the victim being cut into pieces, they brought to him the head and all the members, all which he burnt with fire upon the altar,They delivered the burnt- offering to him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burnt them on the altar.And they gave him the parts of the burned offering, in their order, and the head, to be burned on the altar.
Leviticus 9:14Having first washed the entrails and the feet with water.He washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them on the burnt offering on the altar.And the inside parts and the legs, when they had been washed with water, were burned on the burned offering on the altar.
Leviticus 9:15Then offering for the sin of the people, he slew the he goat: and expiating the altar,He presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, as the first.And he made an offering for the people and took the goat of the sin-offering for the people and put it to death, offering it for sin, in the same way as the first.
Leviticus 9:16He offered the holocaust:He presented the burnt-offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.And he took the burned offering, offering it in the ordered way;
Leviticus 9:17Adding in the sacrifice the libations, which are offered withal, and burning them upon the altar, besides the ceremonies of the morning holocaust.He presented the meal-offering, and filled his hand therefrom, and burnt it on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.And he put the meal offering before the Lord, and taking some of it in his hand he had it burned on the altar, separately from the burned offering of the morning.
Leviticus 9:18He immolated also the bullock and the ram, the peace offerings of the people: and his sons brought him the blood, which he poured upon the altar round about.He killed also the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar round about,And he put to death the ox and the sheep, which were the peace-offerings for the people; and Aaron's sons gave him the blood and he put some of it on and round the altar;
Leviticus 9:19The fat also of the bullock, and the rump of the ram, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, and the caul of the liver,and the fat of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers [the inwards], and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver:And as for the fat of the ox and the fat tail of the sheep and the fat covering the inside parts and the kidneys and the fat on the liver;
Leviticus 9:20They put upon the breasts. And after the fat was burnt upon the altar,and they put the fat on the breasts, and he burnt the fat on the altar:They put the fat on the breasts, and the fat was burned on the altar.
Leviticus 9:21Aaron separated their breasts, and the right shoulders, elevating them before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave-offering before Yahweh; as Moses commanded.And Aaron took the breasts and the right leg, waving them for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses gave orders.
Leviticus 9:22And stretching forth his hands to the people, he blessed them. And so the victims for sin, and the holocausts, and the peace offerings being finished, he came down.Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace-offerings.And Aaron, lifting up his hands to the people, gave them a blessing; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burned offering, and the peace-offerings.
Leviticus 9:23And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the testimony, and afterwards came forth and blessed the people. And the glory of the Lord appeared to all the multitude:Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of Yahweh appeared to all the people.And Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of meeting, and came out and gave the people a blessing, and the glory of the Lord was seen by all the people.
Leviticus 9:24And behold a fire, coming forth from the Lord, devoured the holocaust, and the fat that was upon the altar: which when the multitude saw, they praised the Lord, falling on their faces.There came forth fire from before Yahweh, and consumed on the altar the burnt offering and the fat: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.And fire came out from before the Lord, burning up the offering on the altar and the fat: and when all the people saw it, they gave a loud cry, falling down on their faces.
