Romans 8:1There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.For this cause those who are in Christ Jesus will not be judged as sinners.
Romans 8:2For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh;For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh;For what the law was not able to do because it was feeble through the flesh, God, sending his Son in the image of the evil flesh, and as an offering for sin, gave his decision against sin in the flesh:
Romans 8:4That the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.So that what was ordered by the law might be done in us, who are living, not in the way of the flesh, but in the way of the Spirit.
Romans 8:5For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit.For those who are after the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.For those who are living in the way of the flesh give their minds to the things of the flesh, but those who go in the way of the Spirit, to the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:6For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
Romans 8:7Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.Because the mind of the flesh is opposite to God; it is not under the law of God, and is not able to be:
Romans 8:8And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God.Those who are in the flesh can't please God.So that those who are in the flesh are not able to give pleasure to God.
Romans 8:9But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God is in you. But if any man has not the Spirit of Christ he is not one of his.
Romans 8:10And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Romans 8:11And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.But if the Spirit of him who made Jesus come again from the dead is in you, he who made Christ Jesus come again from the dead will in the same way, through his Spirit which is in you, give life to your bodies which now are under the power of death.
Romans 8:12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.So then, my brothers, we are in debt, not to the flesh to be living in the way of the flesh:
Romans 8:13For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.For if you go in the way of the flesh, death will come on you; but if by the Spirit you put to death the works of the body, you will have life.
Romans 8:14For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.And all those who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Romans 8:15For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba! Father!"For you did not get the spirit of servants again to put you in fear, but the spirit of sons was given to you, by which we say, Abba, Father.
Romans 8:16For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;The Spirit is witness with our spirit that we are children of God:
Romans 8:17And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.And if we are children, we have a right to a part in the heritage; a part in the things of God, together with Christ; so that if we have a part in his pain, we will in the same way have a part in his glory.
Romans 8:18For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, that shall be revealed in us.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.I am of the opinion that there is no comparison between the pain of this present time and the glory which we will see in the future.
Romans 8:19For the expectation of the creature waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.For the creation waits with eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.For the strong desire of every living thing is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hopeFor every living thing was put under the power of change, not by its desire, but by him who made it so, in hope
Romans 8:21Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.That all living things will be made free from the power of death and will have a part with the free children of God in glory.
Romans 8:22For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.For we are conscious that all living things are weeping and sorrowing in pain together till now.
Romans 8:23And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.And not only so, but we who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we have sorrow in our minds, waiting for the time when we will take our place as sons, that is, the salvation of our bodies.
Romans 8:24For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?For our salvation is by hope: but hope which is seen is not hope: for who is hoping for what he sees?
Romans 8:25But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.But if we hope for that which we don't see, we wait for it with patience.But if we have hope for that which we see not, then we will be able to go on waiting for it.
Romans 8:26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.And in the same way the Spirit is a help to our feeble hearts: for we are not able to make prayer to God in the right way; but the Spirit puts our desires into words which are not in our power to say;
Romans 8:27And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God.He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God.
Romans 8:28And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose.
Romans 8:29For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.Because those of whom he had knowledge before they came into existence, were marked out by him to be made like his Son, so that he might be the first among a band of brothers:
Romans 8:30And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.Whom he foreordained, them he also called. Whom he called, them he also justified. Whom he justified, them he also glorified.And those who were marked out by him were named; and those who were named were given righteousness; and to those to whom he gave righteousness, in the same way he gave glory.
Romans 8:31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?What then will we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What may we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
Romans 8:32He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?He who did not keep back his only Son, but gave him up for us all, will he not with him freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.Who could bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.Who will say anything against the saints of God? It is God who makes us clear from evil;
Romans 8:34Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died, yea that is risen also again; who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.Who will give a decision against us? It is Christ Jesus who not only was put to death, but came again from the dead, who is now at the right hand of God, taking our part.
Romans 8:35Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who will come between us and the love of Christ? Will trouble, or pain, or cruel acts, or the need of food or of clothing, or danger, or the sword?
Romans 8:36(As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."As it is said in the holy Writings, Because of you we are put to death every day; we are like sheep ready for destruction.
Romans 8:37But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.But we are able to overcome all these things and more through his love.
Romans 8:38For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,For I am certain that not death, or life, or angels, or rulers, or things present, or things to come, or powers,
Romans 8:39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made, will be able to come between us and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
