Exodus 12:2 | This month shall be to you the beginning of months: it shall be the first in the months of the year. | "This month shall be to you the beginning of months. Exodus 12:4 | But if the number be less than may suffice to eat the lamb, he shall take unto him his neighbour that joineth to his house, according to the number of souls which may be enough to eat the lamb. | and if the household be too little for a lamb, then he and his neighbor next to his house shall take one according to the number of the souls; according to everyone can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. | And if the household be too small for a lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take [it] according to the number of the souls; each according to [the measure] of his eating shall ye count for the lamb. |

Exodus 12:13 | And the blood shall be unto you for a sign in the houses where you shall be: and I shall see the blood, and shall pass over you: and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I shall strike the land of Egypt. | The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. | And the blood shall be for you as a sign on the houses in which ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be among you for destruction, when I smite the land of Egypt. |

Exodus 12:22 | And dip a bunch of hyssop in the blood that is at the door, and sprinkle the transom of the door therewith, and both the door cheeks: let none of you go out of the door of his house till morning. | You shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. | And take a bunch of hyssop, and dip [it] in the blood that is in the bason, and smear the lintel and the two door-posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. |
Exodus 12:23 | For the Lord will pass through striking the Egyptians: and when he shall see the blood on the transom, and on both the posts, he will pass over the door of the house, and not suffer the destroyer to come into your houses and to hurt you. | For Yahweh will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you. | And Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two door-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come into your houses to smite [you]. |
Exodus 12:24 | Thou shalt keep this thing as a law for thee and thy children for ever. | You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever. | And ye shall observe this as an ordinance for thee and for thy sons for ever. |
Exodus 12:25 | And when you have entered into the land which the Lord will give you as he hath promised, you shall observe these ceremonies. | It shall happen when you have come to the land which Yahweh will give you, according as he has promised, that you shall keep this service. | And it shall come to pass, when ye are come into the land that Jehovah will give you, as he has promised, that ye shall keep this service. |
Exodus 12:26 | And when your children shall say to you: What is the meaning of this service? | It will happen, when your children ask you, 'What do you mean by this service?' | And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say to you, What mean ye by this service? |
Exodus 12:27 | You shall say to them: It is the victim of the passage of the Lord, when he passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, striking the Egyptians, and saving our houses. And the people bowing themselves, adored. | that you shall say, 'It is the sacrifice of Yahweh's Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.'" The people bowed their heads and worshipped. | that ye shall say, It is a sacrifice of passover to Jehovah, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when he smote the Egyptians and delivered our houses. And the people bowed their heads and worshipped. |
Exodus 12:28 | And the children of Israel going forth did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron. | The children of Israel went and did so; as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. | And the children of Israel went away, and did as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron; so did they. |
Exodus 12:29 | And it came to pass at midnight, the Lord slew every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharao, who sat on his throne, unto the firstborn of the captive woman that was in the prison, and all the firstborn of cattle. | It happened at midnight, that Yahweh struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. | And it came to pass that at midnight Jehovah smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle. |

Exodus 12:42 | This is the observable night of the Lord, when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: this night all the children of Israel must observe in their generations. | It is a night to be much observed to Yahweh for bringing them out from the land of Egypt.
