| Exodus 25:1 | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: | Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, | And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, |
| Exodus 25:2 | Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring firstfruits to me: of every man that offereth of his own accord, you shall take them. | "Speak to the children of Israel, that they take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall take my offering. | Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me a heave-offering: of every one whose heart prompteth him, ye shall take my heave-offering. |
| Exodus 25:3 | And these are the things you must take: gold, and silver, and brass, | This is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, brass, | And this is the heave-offering that ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and copper, |
| Exodus 25:4 | Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and goats' hair, | blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair, | and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' [hair], |
| Exodus 25:5 | And rams' skins dyed red, and violet skins, and setim wood: | rams' skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood, | and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins; and acacia-wood; |
| Exodus 25:6 | Oil to make lights: spices for ointment, and for sweetsmelling incense: | oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense, | oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs; |

| Exodus 25:10 | Frame an ark of setim wood, the length whereof shall be of two cubits and a half: the breadth, a cubit and a half: the height, likewise, a cubit and a half. | "They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Its length shall be two and a half cubits, its breadth a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height. | And they shall make an ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. |

Inside and outside shall you overlay it, and shall make a gold molding around it. | And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold: inside and outside shalt thou overlay it; and shalt make upon it a border of gold round about. |

| Exodus 25:14 | And thou shalt put them in through the rings that are in the sides of the ark, that it may be carried on them. | You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark. | And put the staves into the rings upon the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. |
| Exodus 25:15 | And they shall be always in the rings, neither shall they at any time be drawn out of them. | The poles shall be in the rings of the ark. They shall not be taken from it. | The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not come out from it. |
| Exodus 25:16 | And thou shalt put in the ark the testimony which I will give thee. | You shall put the testimony which I shall give you into the ark. | And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony that I shall give thee. |
| Exodus 25:17 | Thou shalt make also a propitiatory of the purest gold: the length thereof shall be two cubits and a half, and the breadth a cubit and a half. | You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. Two and a half cubits shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. | And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. |
| Exodus 25:18 | Thou shalt make also two cherubims of beaten gold, on the two sides of the oracle. | You shall make two cherubim of hammered gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat. | And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; [of] beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat. |
| Exodus 25:19 | Let one cherub be on the one side, and the other on the other. | Make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one piece with the mercy seat. | And make one cherub at the end of the one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim at the two ends thereof. |
| Exodus 25:20 | Let them cover both sides of the propitiatory, spreading their wings, and covering the oracle, and let them look one towards the other, their faces being turned towards the propitiatory wherewith the ark is to be covered. | The cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat. | And the cherubim shall stretch out [their] wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be [turned]. |
| Exodus 25:21 | In which thou shalt put the testimony that I will give thee. | You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you. | And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above on the ark, and shalt put in the ark the testimony that I shall give thee. |
| Exodus 25:22 | Thence will I give orders, and will speak to thee over the propitiatory, and from the midst of the two cherubims, which shall be upon the ark of the testimony, all things which I will command the children of Israel by thee. | There I will meet with you, and I will tell you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel. | And there will I meet with thee, and will speak with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, everything that I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. |

Of pure gold shall you make them. | And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them. |
| Exodus 25:30 | And thou shalt set upon the table loaves of proposition in my sight always. | You shall set bread of the presence on the table before me always. | And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually. |
| Exodus 25:31 | Thou shalt make also a candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold, the shaft thereof, and the branches, the cups, and the bowls, and the lilies going forth from it. | "You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. Of hammered work shall the lampstand be made, even its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it. | And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; [of] beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same. |
| Exodus 25:32 | Six branches shall come out of the sides, three out of the one side, and three out of the other. | There shall be six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of its one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side; | And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof; |
| Exodus 25:33 | Three cups as it were nuts to every branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily; and three cups, likewise of the fashion of nuts in the other branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily. Such shall be the work of the six branches, that are to come out from the shaft: | three cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the lampstand; | three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand. |
| Exodus 25:34 | And in the candlestick itself shall be four cups in the manner of a nut, and at every one, bowls and lilies. | and in the lampstand four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers; | And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers; |
| Exodus 25:35 | Bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six coming forth out of one shaft. | and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the lampstand. | and a knob under two branches of it, and [again] a knob under two branches of it, and [again] a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand. |
| Exodus 25:36 | And both the bowls and the branches shall be of the same beaten work of the purest gold. | Their buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold. | Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself all of one beaten work of pure gold. |
| Exodus 25:37 | Thou shalt make also seven lamps, and shalt set them upon the candlestick, to give light over against. | You shall make its lamps seven, and they shall light its lamps to give light to the space in front of it. | And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it; |
| Exodus 25:38 | The snuffers also and where the snuffings shall be put out, shall be made of the purest gold. | Its snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be of pure gold. | and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold. |
| Exodus 25:39 | The whole weight of the candlestick with all the furniture thereof shall be a talent of the purest gold. | It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these accessories. | Of a talent of pure gold shall they make it, with all these utensils. |
| Exodus 25:40 | Look and make it according to the pattern, that was shewn thee in the mount. | See that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain. | And see that thou make [them] according to their pattern, which hath been shewn to thee in the mountain. |
