| Exodus 27:1 | Thou shalt make also an altar of setim wood, which shall be five cubits long and as many broad, that is, foursquare, and three cubits high. | "You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and its height shall be three cubits. | And thou shalt make the altar of acacia-wood, five cubits the length, and five cubits the breadth; the altar shall be square; and the height thereof three cubits. |
| Exodus 27:2 | And there shall be horns at the four corners of the same: and thou shalt cover it with brass. | You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it; and you shall overlay it with brass. | And thou shalt make its horns at the four corners thereof; its horns shall be of itself; and thou shalt overlay it with copper. |

| Exodus 27:6 | Thou shalt make also two bars for the altar of setim wood, which thou shalt cover with plates of brass: | You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass. | And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with copper. |
| Exodus 27:7 | And thou shalt draw them through rings, and they shall be on both sides of the altar to carry it. | Its poles shall be put into the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar, when carrying it. | And its staves shall be put into the rings, that the staves may be on both sides of the altar, when it is carried. |
| Exodus 27:8 | Thou shalt not make it solid, but empty and hollow in the inside, as it was shewn thee in the mount. | Hollow with planks shall you make it: as it has been showed you on the mountain, so shall they make it. | Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it hath been shewn thee on the mountain, so shall they make [it]. |

On the south side, southward, hangings for the court of twined byssus; a hundred cubits the length for the one side, |
