| Genesis 34:1 | And Dina the daughter of Lia went out to see the women of that country. | Dinah, the daughter of Leah, whom she bore to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. | And Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. |
| Genesis 34:2 | And when Sichem the son of Hemor the Hevite, the prince of that land, saw her, he was in love with her: and took her away, and lay with her, ravishing the virgin. | Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her. | Genesis 34:19 | And the young man made no delay, but forthwith fulfilled what was required, for he loved the damsel exceedingly, and he was the greatest man in all his father's house. | The young man didn't wait to do this thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter, and he was honored above all the house of his father. | And the youth did not delay to do this, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter. And he was honourable above all in the house of his father. |

Let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters. | These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade in it. | Genesis 34:30 | And when they had boldly perpetrated these things, Jacob said to Simeon and Levi: You have troubled me, and made me hateful to the Chanaanites and Pherezites, the inhabitants of this land: we are few: they will gather themselves together and kill me; and both I, and my house, shall be destroyed. | Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, "You have troubled me, to make me odious to the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites. I am few in number. They will gather themselves together against me and strike me, and I will be destroyed, I and my house." | And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me, in that ye make me odious among the inhabitants of the land among the Canaanites and the Perizzites; and I am few men in number, and they will gather themselves against me and smite me, and I shall be destroyed, I and my house. |
