John 15:1If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and do abide in his love."I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
John 15:11These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be filled.Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.[As to] every branch in me not bearing fruit, he takes it away; and [as to] every one bearing fruit, he purges it that it may bring forth more fruit.
John 15:12This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you.You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.Ye are already clean by reason of the word which I have spoken to you.
John 15:13Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abide in the vine, thus neither [can] ye unless ye abide in me.
John 15:14You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you.I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine, ye [are] the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, *he* bears much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:15I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth. But I have called you friends: because all things whatsoever I have heard of my Father, I have made known to you.If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.Unless any one abide in me he is cast out as the branch, and is dried up; and they gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
John 15:16You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done to you.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall come to pass to you.
John 15:17These things I command you, that you love one another. In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples. In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, and ye shall become disciples of mine.
John 15:18If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you.Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you: abide in my love.
John 15:19If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and remain in his love.If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
John 15:20Remember my word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.I have spoken these things to you that my joy may be in you, and your joy be full.
John 15:21But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake: because they know not him who sent me.This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:22If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. No one has greater love than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:23He that hateth me, hateth my Father also. You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.Ye are my friends if ye practise whatever I command you.
John 15:24If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.I call you no longer bondmen, for the bondman does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things which I have heard of my Father I have made known to you.
John 15:25But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated me without cause. You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and have set you that ye should go and [that] ye should bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should abide, that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he may give you.
John 15:26But when the Paraclete cometh, whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the Father, he shall give testimony of me.I command these things to you, that you may love one another. These things I command you, that ye love one another.
John 15:27And you shall give testimony, because you are with me from the beginning. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.If the world hate you, know that it has hated me before you.
