| Matthew 18:1 | At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? | In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" | In that hour the disciples came to Jesus saying, Who then is greatest in the kingdom of the heavens? |
| Matthew 18:2 | And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, | Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them, | And Jesus having called a little child to [him], set it in their midst, |
| Matthew 18:3 | And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. | and said, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. | and said, Verily I say to you, Unless ye are converted and become as little children, ye will not at all enter into the kingdom of the heavens. |

| Matthew 18:7 | Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh. | Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! | Matthew 18:8 | And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. | If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire. | And if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut it off and cast [it] from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life lame or maimed, [rather] than having two hands or two feet to be cast into eternal fire. |
| Matthew 18:9 | And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee having one eye to enter into life, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. | If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire. | And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out and cast [it] from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life one-eyed, [rather] than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire. |

If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn't he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray? | What think ye? If a certain man should have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not, leaving the ninety and nine on the mountains, go and seek the one that has gone astray? |
| Matthew 18:13 | And if it so be that he find it: Amen I say to you, he rejoiceth more for that, than for the ninety-nine that went not astray. | If he happens to find it, most assuredly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. | And if it should come to pass that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more because of it than because of the ninety and nine not gone astray. |
| Matthew 18:14 | Even so it is not the will of your Father, who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. | Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. | So it is not the will of your Father who is in [the] heavens that one of these little ones should perish. |
| Matthew 18:15 | But if thy brother shall offend against thee, go, and rebuke him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother. | "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. | But if thy brother sin against thee, go, reprove him between thee and him alone. If he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. |
| Matthew 18:16 | And if he will not hear thee, take with thee one or two more: that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand. | But if he doesn't listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. | But if he do not hear [thee], take with thee one or two besides, that every matter may stand upon the word of two witnesses or of three. |
| Matthew 18:17 | And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican. | If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector. | But if he will not listen to them, tell it to the assembly; and if also he will not listen to the assembly, let him be to thee as one of the nations and a tax-gatherer. |
| Matthew 18:18 | Amen I say to you, whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall be bound also in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven. | Most assuredly I tell you, whatever things you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever things you will loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. | Verily I say to you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on the earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever ye shall loose on the earth shall be loosed in heaven. |
| Matthew 18:19 | Again I say to you, that if two of you shall consent upon earth, concerning any thing whatsoever they shall ask, it shall be done to them by my Father who is in heaven. | Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. | Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in [the] heavens. |

| Matthew 18:21 | Then came Peter unto him and said: Lord, how often shall my brother offend against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? | Then Peter came and said to him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?" | Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? until seven times? |

| Matthew 18:23 | Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened to a king, who would take an account of his servants. | Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants. | For this cause the kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who would reckon with his bondmen. |
| Matthew 18:24 | And when he had begun to take the account, one was brought to him, that owed him ten thousand talents. | When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. | And having begun to reckon, one debtor of ten thousand talents was brought to him. |
| Matthew 18:25 | And as he had not wherewith to pay it, his lord commanded that he should be sold, and his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. | But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. | But he not having anything to pay, [his] lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and his children, and everything that he had, and that payment should be made. |
| Matthew 18:26 | But that servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. | The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all.' | The bondman therefore falling down did him homage, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay thee all. |
| Matthew 18:27 | And the lord of that servant being moved with pity, let him go and forgave him the debt. | The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. | And the lord of that bondman, being moved with compassion, loosed him and forgave him the loan. |
| Matthew 18:28 | But when that servant was gone out, he found one of his fellow servants that owed him an hundred pence: and laying hold of him, throttled him, saying: Pay what thou owest. | But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants, who owed him one hundred denarii, and he laid hold on him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!' | But that bondman having gone out, found one of his fellow-bondmen who owed him a hundred denarii. And having seized him, he throttled him, saying, Pay [me] if thou owest anything. |
| Matthew 18:29 | And his fellow servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. | So his fellow-servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you.' | His fellow-bondman therefore, having fallen down [at his feet], besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee. |
| Matthew 18:30 | And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he paid the debt. | He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due. | But he would not, but went away and cast him into prison, until he should pay what was owing. |

I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. | Then his lord, having called him to [him], says to him, Wicked bondman! I forgave thee all that debt because thou besoughtest me; |
| Matthew 18:33 | Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee? | Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on you?' | shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow-bondman, as *I* also had compassion on thee? |
| Matthew 18:34 | And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt. | His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him. | And his lord being angry delivered him to the tormentors till he paid all that was owing to him. |
| Matthew 18:35 | So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. | So will my heavenly Father also do to you, if you don't each forgive his brother from your hearts for his misdeeds." | Thus also my heavenly Father shall do to you if ye forgive not from your hearts every one his brother. |
