| Deuteronomy 11:1 | Therefore love the Lord thy God and observe his precepts and ceremonies, his judgments and commandments at all times. | Therefore you shall love Yahweh your God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his ordinances, and his commandments, always. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:2 | Know this day the things that your children know not, who saw not the chastisements of the Lord your God. his great doings and strong hand, and stretched out arm, | Know you this day: for I don't speak with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of Yahweh your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm, | |
| Deuteronomy 11:3 | The signs and works which he did in the midst of Egypt to king Pharao, and to all his land, | and his signs, and his works, which he did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:4 | And to all the host of the Egyptians, and to their horses and chariots: how the waters of the Red Sea covered them, when they pursued you, and how the Lord destroyed them until this present day: | and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how Yahweh has destroyed them to this day; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:5 | And what he hath done to you in the wilderness, till you came to this place: | and what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came to this place; | |

| Deuteronomy 11:7 | Your eyes have seen all the greet works of the Lord, that he hath done, | Therefore shall you keep all the commandment which I command you this day, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where you go over to possess it; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:8 | That you may keep all his commandments, which I command you this day, and may go in, and possess the land, to which you are entering, | and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give to them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:9 | And may live in it a long time: which the Lord promised by oath to your fathers, and to their seed, a land which floweth with milk and honey. | For the land, where you go in to possess it, isn't as the land of Egypt, from whence you came out, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:10 | For the land, which thou goest to possess, is not like the land of Egypt, from whence thou camest out, where, when the seed is sown, waters are brought in to water it after the manner of gardens. | but the land, where you go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, [and] drinks water of the rain of the sky, | |
| Deuteronomy 11:11 | But it is a land of hills and plains, expecting rain from heaven. | a land which Yahweh your God cares for: the eyes of Yahweh your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:12 | And the Lord thy God doth always visit it, and his eyes are on it from the beginning of the year unto the end thereof. | It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love Yahweh your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, | |
| Deuteronomy 11:13 | If then you obey my commandments, which I command you this day, that you love the Lord your God, and serve him with all your heart, and with all your soul: | that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your new wine, and your oil. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:14 | He will give to your land the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your corn, and your wine, and your oil, | I will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you shall eat and be full. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:15 | And your hay out of the fields to feed your cattle, and that you may eat and be filled. | Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:16 | Beware lest perhaps your heart be deceived, and you depart from the Lord, and serve strange gods, and adore them: | and the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky, so that there shall be no rain, and the land shall not yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which Yahweh gives you. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:17 | And the Lord being angry shut up heaven, that the rain come not down, nor the earth yield her fruit, and you perish quickly from the excellent land, which the Lord will give you. | Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul; and you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:18 | Lay up these my words in your hearts and minds, and hang them for a sign on your hands, and place them between your eyes. | You shall teach them your children, talking of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:19 | Teach your children that they meditate on them, when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest on the way, end when thou liest down and risest up. | You shall write them on the door-posts of your house, and on your gates; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:20 | Thou shalt write them upon the posts and the doors of thy house: | that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:21 | That thy days may be multiplied, and the days of thy children in the land which the Lord swore to thy fathers, that he would give them as long as the heaven hangeth over the earth. | For if you shall diligently keep all this commandment which I command you, to do it, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave to him; | |
| Deuteronomy 11:22 | For if you keep the commandments which I command you, and do them, to love the Lord your God, and walk in all his ways, cleaving unto him, | then will Yahweh drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:23 | The Lord will destroy all these nations before your face, and you shall possess them, which are greater and stronger than you. | Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even to the hinder sea shall be your border. | |
| Deuteronomy 11:24 | Every place, that your foot shall tread upon, shall be yours. From the desert, and from Libanus, from the great river Euphrates unto the western sea shall be your borders. | There shall no man be able to stand before you: Yahweh your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread on, as he has spoken to you. | |
