| Romans 6:1 | What shall we say, then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What will we say then? Will we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What, then, shall we say? shall we continue in the sin that the grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein? | Certainly not! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? | let it not be! we who died to the sin how shall we still live in it? |
| Romans 6:3 | Know you not that all we, who are baptized in Christ Jesus, are baptized in his death? | Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | are ye ignorant that we, as many as were baptized to Christ Jesus, to his death were baptized? |
| Romans 6:4 | For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. | we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk. |
