Exodus 11:1 | And the Lord said to Moses: Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharao and Egypt, and after that he shall let you go and thrust you out. | And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `One plague more I do bring in on Pharaoh, and on Egypt, afterwards he doth send you away from this; when he is sending you away, he surely casteth you out altogether from this [place]; | And the Lord said to Moses, I will send one more punishment on Pharaoh and on Egypt; after that he will let you go; and when he does let you go, he will not keep one of you back, but will send you out by force. |
Exodus 11:2 | Therefore thou shalt tell all the people that every man ask of his friend, and every woman of her neighbour, vessels of silver, and of gold. | speak, I pray thee, in the ears of the people, and they ask each man from his neighbour, and each woman from her neighbour, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold.` | So go now and give orders to the people that every man and every woman is to get from his or her neighbour ornaments of silver and of gold. |
Exodus 11:3 | And the Lord will give favour to his people in the sight of the Egyptians. And Moses was a very great man in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharao's servants, and of all the people. | And Jehovah giveth the grace of the people in the eyes of the Egyptians; also the man Moses [is] very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of the servants of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of the people. | And the Lord gave the people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians. For the man Moses was highly honoured in the land of Egypt, by Pharaoh's servants and the people. |
Exodus 11:4 | And he said: Thus said the Lord: At midnight I will enter into Egypt. | And Moses saith, `Thus said Jehovah, About midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, | And Moses said, This is what the Lord says: About the middle of the night I will go out through Egypt: |
Exodus 11:5 | And every firstborn in the land of the Egyptians shall die, from the firstborn of Pharao who sitteth on his throne, even to the first born of the handmaid that is at the mill, and all the firstborn of beasts. | and every first-born in the land of Egypt hath died, from the first-born of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, unto the first-born of the maid-servant who [is] behind the millstones, and all the first-born of beasts; | And death will come to every mother's first male child in all the land of Egypt, from the child of Pharaoh on his seat of power, to the child of the servant-girl crushing the grain; and the first births of all the cattle. |
Exodus 11:6 | And there shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as neither hath been before, nor shall be hereafter. | and there hath been a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, and such as there is not again. | And there will be a great cry through all the land of Egypt, such as never has been or will be again. |
Exodus 11:7 | But with all the children of Israel there shall not a dog make the least noise, from man even to beast: that you may know how wonderful a difference the Lord maketh between the Egyptians and Israel. | `And against all the sons of Israel a dog sharpeneth not its tongue, from man even unto beast, so that ye know that Jehovah doth make a separation between the Egyptians and Israel; | But against the children of Israel, man or beast, not so much as the tongue of a dog will be moved: so that you may see how the Lord makes a division between Israel and the Egyptians. |
Exodus 11:8 | And all these thy servants shall come down to me, and shall worship me, saying: Go forth thou, and all the people that is under thee: after that we will go out. | and all these thy servants have come down unto me, and bowed themselves to me, saying, Go out, thou and all the people who [are] at thy feet; and afterwards I do go out;` and he goeth out from Pharaoh in the heat of anger. | And all these your servants will come to me, going down on their faces before me and saying, Go out, and all your people with you: and after that I will go out. And he went away from Pharaoh burning with wrath. |
Exodus 11:9 | And he went out from Pharao exceeding angry. But the Lord said to Moses: Pharao will not hear you, that many signs may be done in the land of Egypt. | And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Pharaoh doth not hearken unto you, so as to multiply My wonders in the land of Egypt;` | And the Lord said to Moses, Pharaoh will not give ear to you, so that my wonders may be increased in the land of Egypt. |
Exodus 11:10 | And Moses and Aaron did all the wonders that are written, before Pharao. And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart, neither did he let the children of Israel go out of his land. | and Moses and Aaron have done all these wonders before Pharaoh, and Jehovah strengtheneth Pharaoh`s heart, and he hath not sent the sons of Israel out of his land. | All these wonders Moses and Aaron did before Pharaoh: but the Lord made Pharaoh's heart hard, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land. |
