Exodus 35:1And all the multitude of the children of Israel being gathered together, he said to them: These are the things which the Lord hath commanded to be done.And Moses assembleth all the company of the sons of Israel, and saith unto them, `These [are] the things which Jehovah hath commanded to do them:And Moses sent for all the children of Israel to come together, and said to them, This is what the Lord has said and these are his orders.
Exodus 35:2Six days you shall do work: the seventh day shall be holy unto you, the sabbath, and the rest of the Lord: he that shall do any work on it, shall be put to death.Six days is work done, and on the seventh day there is to you a holy [day], a sabbath of rest to Jehovah; any who doeth work in it is put to death;Six days let work be done, but the seventh day is to be a holy day to you, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on that day is to be put to death.
Exodus 35:3You shall kindle no fire in any of your habitations on the sabbath day.ye do not burn a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath-day.`No fire is to be lighted in any of your houses on the Sabbath day.
Exodus 35:4And Moses said to all the assembly of the children of Israel: This is the word the Lord hath commanded, saying:And Moses speaketh unto all the company of the sons of Israel, saying, `This [is] the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, saying,And Moses said to all the meeting of the children of Israel, This is the order which the Lord has given:
Exodus 35:5Set aside with you firstfuits to the Lord. Let every one that is willing and hath a ready heart, offer them to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,Take ye from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah; every one whose heart [is] willing doth bring it, the heave-offering of Jehovah, gold, and silver, and brass,Take from among you an offering to the Lord; everyone who has the impulse in his heart, let him give his offering to the Lord; gold and silver and brass;
Exodus 35:6Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, goats' hair,and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats` [hair],And blue and purple and red and the best linen and goats' hair,
Exodus 35:7And rams' skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins, setim wood,and rams` skins made red, and badgers` skins, and shittim wood,And sheepskins coloured red, and leather, and hard wood,
Exodus 35:8And oil to maintain lights, and to make ointment, and most sweet incense.and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the spice perfume,And oil for the lights, and spices for the holy oil and for the sweet perfumes for burning.
Exodus 35:9Onyx stones, and precious stones, for the adorning of the ephod and the rational.and shoham stones, and stones for settings, for an ephod, and for a breastplate.And beryls and jewels to be cut for the ephod and for the priest's bag.
Exodus 35:10Whosoever of you is wise, let him come, and make that which the Lord hath commanded:`And all the wise-hearted among you come in, and make all that Jehovah hath commanded:And let every wise-hearted man among you come and make whatever has been ordered by the Lord;
Exodus 35:11To wit, the tabernacle and the roof thereof, and the cover, the rings, and the board work with the oars, the pillars, and the sockets:`The tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its hooks, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,The House and its tent and its cover, its hooks and its boards, its rods and its pillars and its bases;
Exodus 35:12The ark and the staves, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it:`The ark and its staves, the mercy-seat, and the vail of the covering,The ark with its cover and its rods and the veil hanging before it;
Exodus 35:13The table with the bars and the vessels, and the loaves of proposition:`The table and its staves, and all its vessels, and the bread of the presence,The table and its rods and all its vessels, and the holy bread;
Exodus 35:14The candlestick to bear up the lights, the vessels thereof and the lamps, and the oil for the nourishing of fires:`And the candlestick for the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil for the light,And the support for the lights, with its vessels and its lights and the oil for the light;
Exodus 35:15The altar of incense, and the bars, and the oil of unction and the incense of spices: the hanging at the door of the tabernacle:`And the altar of perfume, and its staves, and the anointing oil, and the spice perfume, and the covering of the opening at the opening of the tabernacle,And the altar for burning spices, with its rods, and the holy oil and the sweet perfume, and the curtain for the door, at the door of the House;
Exodus 35:16The altar of holocaust, and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels thereof: the laver and its foot:`The altar of burnt-offering and the brazen grate which it hath, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base,The altar of burned offerings, with its network of brass, its rods, and all its vessels, the washing-vessel and its base;
Exodus 35:17The curtains of the court with the pillars and the sockets, the hanging in the doors of the entry,`The hangings of the court, its pillars, and their sockets, and the covering of the gate of the court,The hangings for the open space, its pillars and their bases, and the curtain for the doorway;
Exodus 35:18The pins of the tabernacle and of the court with their little cords:`The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,The nails for the House, and the nails for the open space and their cords;
Exodus 35:19The vestments that are to be used in the ministry of the sanctuary, the vesture of Aaron the high priest, and of his sons, to do the office of priesthood to me.`The coloured garments, to do service in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons to act as priest in.`The robes of needlework for the work of the holy place, the holy robes for Aaron the priest, and the robes for his sons when acting as priests.
Exodus 35:20And all the multitude of the children of Israel going out from the presence of Moses,And all the company of the sons of Israel go out from the presence of Moses,And all the children of Israel went away from Moses.
Exodus 35:21Offered firstfruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to make the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatsoever was necessary to the service, and to the holy vestments,and they come in every man whom his heart hath lifted up, and every one whom his spirit hath made willing they have brought in the heave-offering of Jehovah for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.And everyone whose heart was moved, everyone who was guided by the impulse of his spirit, came with his offering for the Lord, for whatever was needed for the Tent of meeting and its work and for the holy robes.
Exodus 35:22Both men and women gave bracelets and earrings, rings and tablets: every vessel of gold was set aside to be offered to the Lord.And they come in the men with the women every willing-hearted one they have brought in nose-ring, and ear-ring, and seal-ring, and necklace, all golden goods, even every one who hath waved a wave-offering of gold to Jehovah.They came, men and women, all who were ready to give, and gave pins and nose-rings and finger-rings and neck-ornaments, all of gold; everyone gave an offering of gold to the Lord.
Exodus 35:23If any man had violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, fine linen and goats' hair, rams' skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins,And every man with whom hath been found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats` [hair], and rams` skins made red, and badgers` skins, have brought [them] in;And everyone who had blue and purple and red and the best linen and goats' hair and sheepskins coloured red and leather, gave them.
Exodus 35:24Metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, and setim wood for divers uses.every one lifting up a heave-offering of silver and brass have brought in the heave-offering of Jehovah; and every one with whom hath been found shittim wood for any work of the service brought [it] in.Everyone who had silver and brass gave an offering of them to the Lord; and everyone who had hard wood, such as was needed for the work, gave it.
Exodus 35:25The skilful women also gave such things as they had spun, violet, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen,And every wise-hearted woman hath spun with her hands, and they bring in yarn, the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the linen;And all the women who were expert with their hands, made cloth, and gave the work of their hands, blue and purple and red and the best linen.
Exodus 35:26And goats' hair, giving all of their own accord.and all the women whose heart hath lifted them up in wisdom, have spun the goats` [hair].And those women who had the knowledge, made the goats' hair into cloth.
Exodus 35:27But the princes offered onyx stone, and precious stones, for the ephod and the rational,And the princes have brought in the shoham stones, and the stones for settings, for the ephod, and for the breastplate,And the rulers gave the beryls and the cut jewels for the ephod and the priest's bag;
Exodus 35:28And spices and oil for the lights, and for the preparing of ointment, and to make the incense of most sweet savour.and the spices, and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the spice perfume;And the spice and the oil for the light, and the holy oil and the sweet perfumes.
Exodus 35:29All both men and women with devout mind offered gifts, that the works might be done which the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses. All the children of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.every man and woman (whom their heart hath made willing to bring in for all the work which Jehovah commanded to be done by the hand of Moses) [of] the sons of Israel brought in a willing-offering to Jehovah.The children of Israel, every man and woman, from the impulse of their hearts, gave their offerings freely to the Lord for the work which the Lord had given Moses orders to have done.
Exodus 35:30And Moses said to the children of Israel: Behold the Lord hath called by name Beseleel the son of Uri the son of Hur of the tribe of Juda.And Moses saith unto the sons of Israel, `See, Jehovah hath called by name Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the Lord has made selection of Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
Exodus 35:31And hath filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding and knowledge and all learning.and He doth fill him [with] the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work,And he has made him full of the spirit of God, in all wisdom and knowledge and art of every sort;
Exodus 35:32To devise and to work in gold and silver and brass,even to devise devices to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,As an expert designer of beautiful things, working in gold and silver and brass;
Exodus 35:33And in engraving stones, and in carpenters' work. Whatsoever can be devised artificially,and in graving of stones for settings, and in graving of wood to work in any work of design.Trained in the cutting of stones and the ornamenting of wood and in every sort of handwork.
Exodus 35:34He hath given in his heart: Ooliab also the son of Achisamech of the tribe of Dan:`And to direct He hath put in his heart, he and Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan;And he has given to him, and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the power of training others.
Exodus 35:35Both of them hath he instructed with wisdom, to do carpenters' work and tapestry, and embroidery in blue and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and to weave all things, and to invent all new things.He hath filled them with wisdom of heart to do every work, of engraver, and designer, and embroiderer (in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in linen), and weaver, who do any work, and of designers of designs.To them he has given knowledge of all the arts of the handworker, of the designer, and the expert workman; of the maker of needlework in blue and purple and red and the best linen, and of the maker of cloth; in all the arts of the designer and the trained workman they are expert.
