Genesis 8:1And God remembered Noe, and all the living creatures, and all the cattle which were with him in the ark, and brought a wind upon the earth, and the waters were abated.And God remembereth Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle which [are] with him in the ark, and God causeth a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subside,And God kept Noah in mind, and all the living things and the cattle which were with him in the ark: and God sent a wind over the earth, and the waters went down.
Genesis 8:2The fountains also of the deep, and the flood gates of heaven were shut up, and the rain from heaven was restrained.and closed are the fountains of the deep and the net-work of the heavens, and restrained is the shower from the heavens.And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were shut, and the rain from heaven was stopped.
Genesis 8:3And the waters returned from off the earth going and coming: and they began to be abated after a hundred and fifty days.And turn back do the waters from off the earth, going on and returning; and the waters are lacking at the end of a hundred and fifty days.And the waters went slowly back from the earth, and at the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters were lower.
Genesis 8:4And the ark rested in the seventh month, the seven and twentieth day of the month, upon the mountains of Armenia.And the ark resteth, in the seventh month, in the seventeenth day of the month, on mountains of Ararat;And on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
Genesis 8:5And the waters were going and decreasing until the tenth month: for in the tenth month, the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared.and the waters have been going and becoming lacking till the tenth month; in the tenth [month], on the first of the month, appeared the heads of the mountains.And still the waters went on falling, till on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains were seen.
Genesis 8:6And after that forty days were passed, Noe, opening the window of the ark which he had made, sent forth a raven:And it cometh to pass, at the end of forty days, that Noah openeth the window of the ark which he made,Then, after forty days, through the open window of the ark which he had made,
Genesis 8:7Which went forth and did not return, till the waters were dried up upon the earth.and he sendeth forth the raven, and it goeth out, going out and turning back till the drying of the waters from off the earth.Noah sent out a raven, which went this way and that till the waters were gone from the earth.
Genesis 8:8He sent forth also a dove after him, to see if the waters had now ceased upon the face of the earth.And he sendeth forth the dove from him to see whether the waters have been lightened from off the face of the ground,And he sent out a dove, to see if the waters had gone from the face of the earth;
Genesis 8:9But she, not finding where her foot might rest, returned to him into the ark: for the waters were upon the whole earth: and he put forth his hand, and caught her, and brought her into the ark.and the dove hath not found rest for the sole of her foot, and she turneth back unto him, unto the ark, for waters [are] on the face of all the earth, and he putteth out his hand, and taketh her, and bringeth her in unto him, unto the ark.But the dove saw no resting-place for her foot, and came back to the ark, for the waters were still over all the earth; and he put out his hand, and took her into the ark.
Genesis 8:10And having waited yet seven other days, he again sent forth the dove out of the ark.And he stayeth yet other seven days, and addeth to send forth the dove from the ark;And after waiting another seven days, he sent the dove out again;
Genesis 8:11And she came to him in the evening, carrying a bough of an olive tree, with green leaves, in her mouth. Noe therefore understood that the waters were ceased upon the earth.and the dove cometh in unto him at even-time, and lo, an olive leaf torn off in her mouth; and Noah knoweth that the waters have been lightened from off the earth.And the dove came back at evening, and in her mouth was an olive-leaf broken off: so Noah was certain that the waters had gone down on the earth.
Genesis 8:12And he stayed yet other seven days: and he sent forth the dove, which returned not any more unto him.And he stayeth yet other seven days, and sendeth forth the dove, and it added not to turn back unto him any more.And after seven days more, he sent the dove out again, but she did not come back to him.
Genesis 8:13Therefore in the six hundreth and first year, the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were lessened upon the earth, and Noe opening the covering of the ark, looked, and saw that the face of the earth was dried.And it cometh to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first [month], in the first of the month, the waters have been dried from off the earth; and Noah turneth aside the covering of the ark, and looketh, and lo, the face of the ground hath been dried.And in the six hundred and first year, on the first day of the first month, the waters were dry on the earth: and Noah took the cover off the ark and saw that the face of the earth was dry.
Genesis 8:14In the second month, the seven and twentieth day of the month, the earth was dried.And in the second month, in the seven and twentieth day of the month, the earth hath become dry.And on the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was dry.
Genesis 8:15And God spoke to Noe, saying:And God speaketh unto Noah, saying, `Go out from the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons` wives with thee;And God said to Noah,
Genesis 8:16Go out of the ark, thou and thy wife, thy sons, and the wives of thy sons with thee.every living thing that [is] with thee, of all flesh, among fowl, and among cattle, and among every creeping thing which is creeping on the earth, bring out with thee;Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives.
Genesis 8:17All livings things that are with thee of all flesh, as well in fowls as in beasts, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, bring out with thee, and go ye upon the earth: increased and multiply upon it.and they have teemed in the earth, and been fruitful, and have multiplied on the earth.`Take out with you every living thing which is with you, birds and cattle and everything which goes on the earth, so that they may have offspring and be fertile and be increased on the earth.
Genesis 8:18So Noe went out, he and his sons: his wife, and the wives of his sons with him.And Noah goeth out, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons` wives with him;And Noah went out with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives;
Genesis 8:19And all living things, and cattle, and creeping things that creep upon the earth, according to their kinds, went out of the ark.every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl; every creeping thing on the earth, after their families, have gone out from the ark.And every beast and bird and every living thing of every sort which goes on the earth, went out of the ark.
Genesis 8:20And Noe built an altar unto the Lord: and taking of all cattle and fowls that were clean, offered holocausts upon the altar.And Noah buildeth an altar to Jehovah, and taketh of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and causeth burnt-offerings to ascend on the altar;And Noah made an altar to the Lord, and from every clean beast and bird he made burned offerings on the altar.
Genesis 8:21And the Lord smelled a sweet savour, and said: I will no more curse the earth for the sake of man: for the imagination and thought of man's heart are prone to evil from his youth: therefore I will no more destroy every living soul as I have done.and Jehovah smelleth the sweet fragrance, and Jehovah saith unto His heart, `I continue not to disesteem any more the ground because of man, though the imagination of the heart of man [is] evil from his youth; and I continue not to smite any more all living, as I have done;And when the sweet smell came up to the Lord, he said in his heart, I will not again put a curse on the earth because of man, for the thoughts of man's heart are evil from his earliest days; never again will I send destruction on all living things as I have done.
Genesis 8:22All the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, night and day, shall not cease.during all days of the earth, seed-time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night, do not cease.`While the earth goes on, seed time and the getting in of the grain, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, will not come to an end.
