| Hebrews 4:1 | Let us fear therefore lest the promise being left of entering into his rest, any of you should be thought to be wanting. | We may fear, then, lest a promise being left of entering into His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short, | Let us then, though we still have God's word that we may come into his rest, go in fear that some of you may be unable to do so. |

But the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith of those things they heard. | for we also are having good news proclaimed, even as they, but the word heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard, | And, truly, the good news came to us, even as it did to them; but the hearing of the word did them no good, because they were not united in faith with the true hearers. |
