Leviticus 14:2This is the rite of a leper, when he is to be cleansed: he shall be brought to the priest:`This is a law of the leper, in the day of his cleansing, that he hath been brought in unto the priest,This is the law of the leper on the day when he is made clean: he is to be taken to the priest;
Leviticus 14:3Who going out of the camp when he shall And that the leprosy is cleansed,and the priest hath gone out unto the outside of the camp, and the priest hath seen, and lo, the plague of leprosy hath ceased from the leper,And the priest is to go outside the tent-circle; and if, after looking, the priest sees that the mark of the disease has gone from him,
Leviticus 14:4Shall command him that is to be purified, to offer for himself two living sparrows, which it is lawful to eat, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.and the priest hath commanded, and he hath taken for him who is to be cleansed, two clean living birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.Then the priest is to give orders to take, for him who is to be made clean, two living clean birds and some cedar wood and red thread and hyssop.
Leviticus 14:5And he shall command one of the sparrows to be immolated in an earthen vessel over living waters:`And the priest hath commanded, and he hath slaughtered the one bird upon an earthen vessel, over running water;And the priest will give orders for one of the birds to be put to death in a vessel made of earth, over flowing water.
Leviticus 14:6But the other that is alive he shall dip, with the cedar wood, and the scarlet and the hyssop, in the blood of the sparrow that is immolated:[as to] the living bird, he taketh it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and hath dipped them and the living bird in the blood of the slaughtered bird, over the running water,And he will take the living bird and the wood and the red thread and the hyssop and put them in the blood of the bird which was put to death over flowing water.
Leviticus 14:7Wherewith he shall sprinkle him that is to be cleansed seven times, that he may be rightly purified: and he shall let go the living sparrow, that it may fly into the field.and he hath sprinkled on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and hath pronounced him clean, and hath sent out the living bird on the face of the field.And shaking it seven times over the man who is to be made clean, he will say that he is clean and will let the living bird go free into the open country.
Leviticus 14:8And when the man hath washed his clothes, he shall shave all the hair of his body, and shall be washed with water: and being purified, he shall enter into the camp, yet so that he tarry without his own tent seven days:`And he who is to be cleansed hath washed his garments, and hath shaved all his hair, and hath bathed with water, and hath been clean, and afterwards he doth come in unto the camp, and hath dwelt at the outside of his tent seven days.And he who is to be made clean will have his clothing washed and his hair cut and have a bath, and he will be clean. And after that he will come back to the tent-circle; but he is to keep outside his tent for seven days.
Leviticus 14:9And on the seventh day he shall shave the hair of his head, and his beard and his eyebrows, and the hair of all his body. And having washed again his clothes, and his body,`And it hath been, on the seventh day he shaveth all his hair, his head, and his beard, and his eyebrows, even all his hair he doth shave, and he hath washed his garments, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and hath been clean.And on the seventh day he is to have all the hair cut off his head and his chin and over his eyes all his hair is to be cut off and he will have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and he will be clean.
Leviticus 14:10On the eighth day he shall take two lambs without blemish, and an ewe of a year old without blemish, and three tenths of flour tempered with oil for a sacrifice, and a sextary of oil apart.`And on the eighth day he taketh two lambs, perfect ones, and one ewe-lamb, daughter of a year, a perfect one, and three tenth deals of flour [for] a present, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.And on the eighth day let him take two male lambs, without any marks on them, and one female lamb of the first year, without a mark, and three tenth parts of an ephah of the best meal, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.
Leviticus 14:11And when the priest that purifieth the man, hath presented him, and all these things before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony,`And the priest who is cleansing hath caused the man who is to be cleansed to stand with them before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting,And the priest who is making him clean will put the man who is being made clean, together with these things, before the door of the Tent of meeting.
Leviticus 14:12He shall take a. lamb, and offer it for a trespass offering with the sextary of oil: and having offered all before the Lord,and the priest hath taken the one he-lamb, and hath brought it near for a guilt-offering, also the log of oil, and hath waved them a wave offering before Jehovah.And the priest is to take one of the male lambs and give it as an offering for wrongdoing, and the log of oil, waving them for a wave offering before the Lord;
Leviticus 14:13He shall immolate the lamb, where the victim for sin is wont to be immolated, and the holocaust, that is, in the holy place: for as that which is for sin, so also the victim for a trespass offering pertaineth to the priest: it is holy of holies.`And he hath slaughtered the lamb in the place where he slaughtereth the sin-offering and the burnt-offering, in the holy place; for like the sin-offering the guilt-offering is to the priest; it [is] most holy.And he is to put the male lamb to death in the place where they put to death the sin-offering and the burned offering, in the holy place; for as the sin-offering is the property of the priest, so is the offering for wrongdoing: it is most holy.
Leviticus 14:14And the priest taking of the blood of the victim that was immolated for trespass, shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand and the great toe of his right foot:`And the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;And let the priest take some of the blood of the offering for wrongdoing and put it on the point of the right ear of him who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the great toe of his right foot;
Leviticus 14:15And he shall pour of the sextary of oil into his own left. hand,and the priest hath taken of the log of oil, and hath poured on the left palm of the priest,And take some of the oil and put it in the hollow of his left hand;
Leviticus 14:16And shall dip his right finger in it, and sprinkle it before the Lord seven times.and the priest hath dipped his right finger in the oil which [is] on his left palm, and hath sprinkled of the oil with his finger seven times before Jehovah.And let the priest put his right finger in the oil which is in his left hand, shaking it out with his finger seven times before the Lord;
Leviticus 14:17And the rest of the oil in his left band, he shall pour upon the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand and the great toe of his right foot, and upon the blood that was shed for trespass,`And of the residue of the oil which [is] on his palm, the priest putteth on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt-offering;And of the rest of the oil which is in his hand, the priest will put some on the point of the right ear of the man who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the great toe of his right foot, over the blood of the offering for wrongdoing;
Leviticus 14:18And upon his head.and the remnant of the oil which [is] on the palm of the priest, he putteth on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest hath made atonement for him before Jehovah.And the rest of the oil in the priest's hand he will put on the head of him who is to be made clean; and so the priest will make him free from sin before the Lord.
Leviticus 14:19And he shall pray for him before the Lord, and shall offer the sacrifice for sin: then shall he immolate the holocaust,`And the priest hath made the sin-offering, and hath made atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness, and afterwards he doth slaughter the burnt-offering;And the priest will give the sin-offering, and take away the sin of him who is to be made clean from his unclean condition; and after that he will put the burned offering to death.
Leviticus 14:20And put it on the altar with the libations thereof, and the man shall be rightly cleansed.and the priest hath caused the burnt-offering to ascend, also the present, on the altar, and the priest hath made atonement for him, and he hath been clean.And the priest is to have the burned offering and the meal offering burned on the altar; and the priest will take away his sin and he will be clean.
Leviticus 14:21But if he be poor, and his hand cannot find the things aforesaid: he shall take a lamb for an offering for trespass, that the priest may pray for him, and a tenth part of hour tempered with oil for a sacrifice, and a sextary of oil,`And if he [is] poor, and his hand is not reaching [these things], then he hath taken one lamb a guilt-offering, for a wave-offering, to make atonement for him, and one-tenth deal of flour mixed with oil for a present, and a log of oil,And if he is poor and not able to get so much, then he may take one male lamb as an offering for wrongdoing, to be waved to take away his sin, and one tenth part of an ephah of the best meal mixed with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;
Leviticus 14:22And two turtles or two young pigeons, of which one may be for sin, and the other for a holocaust:and two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, which his hand reacheth to, and one hath been a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering;And two doves or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and one will be for a sin-offering and the other for a burned offering.
Leviticus 14:23And he shall offer them on the eighth day of his purification to the priest, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord.and he hath brought them in on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah.And on the eighth day he will take them to the priest, to the door of the Tent of meeting before the Lord, so that he may be made clean.
Leviticus 14:24And the priest receiving the lamb for trespass, and the sextary of oil, shall elevate them together.`And the priest hath taken the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest hath waved them a wave-offering before Jehovah;And the priest will take the lamb of the offering for wrongdoing and the oil, waving them for a wave offering before the Lord;
Leviticus 14:25And the lamb being immolated, he shall put of the blood thereof upon the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and the great toe of his right foot:and he hath slaughtered the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;And he will put to death the lamb of the offering for wrongdoing and the priest will take some of the blood of the offering for wrongdoing and put it on the point of the right ear of him who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the great toe of his right foot;
Leviticus 14:26But he shall pour part of the oil into his own left hand,and the priest doth pour of the oil on the left palm of the priest;And the priest will put out some of the oil in the hollow of his left hand,
Leviticus 14:27And dipping the finger of his right hand in it, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the Lord:and the priest hath sprinkled with his right finger of the oil which [is] on his left palm, seven times before Jehovah.Shaking out drops of oil with his right finger before the Lord seven times:
Leviticus 14:28And he shall touch the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and the thumb of his right hand and the great toe of his right foot, in the place of the blood that was shed for trespass.`And the priest hath put of the oil which [is] on his palm, on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt-offering;And the priest will put some of the oil which is in his hand on the point of the ear of the man who is to be made clean and on the thumb of his right hand and on the great toe of his right foot, on the place where the blood of the offering for wrongdoing was put;
Leviticus 14:29And the other part of the oil that is in his left hand, he shall pour upon the head of the purified person, that he may appease the Lord for him.and the remnant of the oil which [is] on the palm of the priest he doth put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him, before Jehovah.And the rest of the oil which is in the priest's hand he will put on the head of him who is to be made clean, to take away his sin before the Lord.
Leviticus 14:30And he shall offer a turtle, or young pigeon,`And he hath made the one of the turtle-doves, or of the young pigeons (from that which his hand reacheth to,And he will make an offering of one of the doves or the young pigeons, such as he is able to get;
Leviticus 14:31One for trespass, and the other for a holocaust, with their libations.[even] that which his hand reacheth to), the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt offering, besides the present, and the priest hath made atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Jehovah.And of these, he will give one for a sin-offering and one for a burned offering, with the meal offering; and the priest will take away the sin of him who is to be made clean before the Lord.
Leviticus 14:32This is the sacrifice of a leper, that is not able to have all things that appertain to his cleansing.This [is] a law of him in whom [is] a plague of leprosy, whose hand reacheth not to his cleansing.`This is the law for the man who has the disease of the leper on him, and who is not able to get that which is necessary for making himself clean.
Leviticus 14:33And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
Leviticus 14:34When you shall be come into the land of Chanaan, which I will give you for a possession, if there be the plague of leprosy in a house,`When ye come in unto the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you for a possession, and I have put a plague of leprosy in a house [in] the land of your possession;When you have come into the land of Canaan which I will give you for your heritage, if I put the leper's disease on a house in the land of your heritage,
Leviticus 14:35He whose house it is, shall go and tell the priest, saying: It seemeth to me, that there is the plague of leprosy in my house,then hath he whose the house [is] come in and declared to the priest, saying, As a plague hath appeared to me in the house;Then let the owner of the house come and say to the priest, It seems to me that there is a sort of leper's disease in the house.
Leviticus 14:36And he shall command, that they carry forth all things out of the house, before he go into it, and see whether it have the leprosy, lest all things become unclean that are in the house. And after- wards he shall go in to view the leprosy of the house.and the priest hath commanded, and they have prepared the house before the priest cometh in to see the plague (that all which [is] in the house be not unclean), and afterwards doth the priest come in to see the house;And the priest will give orders for everything to be taken out of the house, before he goes in to see the disease, so that the things in the house may not become unclean; and then the priest is to go in to see the house;
Leviticus 14:37And if he see in the walls thereof as it were little dints, disfigured with paleness or redness, and lower than all the rest,and he hath seen the plague, and lo, the plague [is] in the walls of the house, hollow strakes, very green or very red, and their appearance [is] lower than the wall,And if he sees that the walls of the house are marked with hollows of green and red, and if it seems to go deeper than the face of the wall;
Leviticus 14:38He shall go out of the door of the house, and forthwith shut it up seven days,and the priest hath gone out of the house unto the opening of the house, and hath shut up the house seven days.Then the priest will go out of the door of the house, and keep the house shut up for seven days:
Leviticus 14:39And returning on the seventh day, he shall look upon it. If he find that the leprosy is spread,`And the priest hath turned back on the seventh day, and hath seen, and lo, the plague hath spread in the walls of the house,And the priest is to come again on the seventh day and have a look and see if the marks on the walls of the house are increased in size;
Leviticus 14:40He shall command, that the stones wherein the leprosy is, be taken out, and cast without the city into an unclean place:and the priest hath commanded, and they have drawn out the stones in which the plague [is], and have cast them unto the outside of the city, unto an unclean place;Then the priest will give orders to them to take out the stones in which the disease is seen, and put them out into an unclean place outside the town:
Leviticus 14:41And that the house be scraped on the inside round about, and the dust of the scraping be scattered without the city into an unclean place:and the house he doth cause to be scraped within round about, and they have poured out the clay which they have scraped off, at the outside of the city, at an unclean place;And he will have the house rubbed all over inside, and the paste which is rubbed off will be put out into an unclean place outside the town:
Leviticus 14:42And that other stones be laid in the place of them that were taken away, and the house be plastered with other mortar.and they have taken other stones, and brought [them] in unto the place of the stones, and other clay he taketh and hath daubed the house.And they will take other stones and put them in place of those stones, and he will take other paste and put it on the walls of the house.
Leviticus 14:43But if, after the stones be taken out, and the dust scraped off, and it be plastered with other earth,`And if the plague return, and hath broken out in the house, after he hath drawn out the stones, and after the scraping of the house, and after the daubing;And if the disease comes out again in the house after he has taken out the stones and after the walls have been rubbed and the new paste put on,
Leviticus 14:44The priest going in perceive that the leprosy is returned, and the walls full of spots, it is a lasting leprosy, and the house is unclean:then hath the priest come in and seen, and lo, the plague hath spread in the house; it [is] a fretting leprosy in the house; it [is] unclean.Then the priest will come and see it; and if the disease in the house is increased in size, it is the leper's disease working out in the house: it is unclean.
Leviticus 14:45And they shall destroy it forthwith, and shall cast the stones and timber thereof, and all the dust without the town into an unclean place.`And he hath broken down the house, its stones, and its wood, and all the clay of the house, and he hath brought [them] forth unto the outside of the city, unto an unclean place.And the house will have to be pulled down, the stones of it and the wood and the paste; and everything is to be taken out to an unclean place outside the town.
Leviticus 14:46He that entereth into the house when it is shut, shall be unclean until evening,`And he who is going in unto the house all the days he hath shut it up, is unclean till the evening;And, in addition, anyone who goes into the house at any time, while it is shut up, will be unclean till evening.
Leviticus 14:47And he that sleepeth in it, and eateth any thing, shall wash his clothes.and he who is lying in the house doth wash his garments; and he who is eating in the house doth wash his garments.And anyone who has been sleeping in the house will have to have his clothing washed; and anyone who takes food in that house will have to have his clothing washed.
Leviticus 14:48But if the priest going in perceive that the leprosy is not spread in the house, after it was plastered again, he shall purify it, it being cured,`And if the priest certainly come in, and hath seen, and lo, the plague hath not spread in the house after the daubing of the house, then hath the priest pronounced the house clean, for the plague hath been healed.And if the priest comes in, and sees that the disease is not increased after the new paste has been put on the house, then the priest will say that the house is clean, because the disease is gone.
Leviticus 14:49And for the purification thereof he shall take two sparrows, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:`And he hath taken for the cleansing of the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop;And in order to make the house clean, let him take two birds and cedar-wood and red thread and hyssop;
Leviticus 14:50And having immolated one sparrow In an earthen vessel over living waters,and he hath slaughtered the one bird upon an earthen vessel, over running water;And put one of the birds to death in a vessel of earth over flowing water;
Leviticus 14:51He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living sparrow, and shall dip all in the blood of the sparrow that is immolated, and in the living water, and he shall sprinkle the house seven times:and he hath taken the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and hath dipped them in the blood of the slaughtered bird, and in the running water, and hath sprinkled upon the house seven times.And take the cedar-wood and the hyssop and the red thread and the living bird and put them in the blood of the dead bird and in the flowing water, shaking it over the house seven times.
Leviticus 14:52And shall purify it as well with the blood of the sparrow, as with the living water, and with the living sparrow, and with the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet.`And he hath cleansed the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;And he will make the house clean with the blood of the bird and the flowing water and with the living bird and with the cedar-wood and the hyssop and the red thread.
Leviticus 14:53And when he hath let go the sparrow to fly freely away into the field, he shall pray for the house, and it shall be rightly cleansed.and he hath sent away the living bird unto the outside of the city unto the face of the field, and hath made atonement for the house, and it hath been clean.But he will let the living bird go out of the town into the open country; so he will take away sin from the house and it will be clean.
Leviticus 14:54This is the law of every kind of leprosy and stroke.`This [is] the law for every plague of the leprosy and for scall,This is the law for all signs of the leper's disease and for skin diseases;
Leviticus 14:55Of the leprosy of garments and houses,and for leprosy of a garment, and of a house,And for signs of disease in clothing, or in a house;
Leviticus 14:56Of a scar and of blisters breaking out, of a shining spot, and when the colours are diversely changed:and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot,And for a growth or a bad place or a bright mark on the skin;
Leviticus 14:57That it may be known when a thing is clean or unclean.to direct in the day of being unclean, and in the day of being clean; this [is] the law of the leprosy.`To make clear when it is unclean and when it is clean: this is the law about the disease of the leper.
