| Romans 9:1 | And not only she. But when Rebecca also had conceived at once, of Isaac our father. | Truth I say in Christ, I lie not, my conscience bearing testimony with me in the Holy Spirit, | I say what is true in Christ, and not what is false, my mind giving witness with me in the Holy Spirit, |
| Romans 9:11 | For when the children were not yet born, nor had done any good or evil (that the purpose of God, according to election, might stand,) | that I have great grief and unceasing pain in my heart | That I am full of sorrow and pain without end. |

God forbid. | whose [are] the fathers, and of whom [is] the Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed to the ages. May the thing which is made say to him who made it, Why did you make me so? |

That the Gentiles, who followed not after justice, have attained to justice, even the justice that is of faith. | hath not the potter authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make the one vessel to honour, and the one to dishonour? | Or has not the potter the right to make out of one part of his earth a vessel for honour, and out of another a vessel for shame? |
| Romans 9:31 | But Israel, by following after the law of justice, is not come unto the law of justice. | And if God, willing to shew the wrath and to make known His power, did endure, in much long suffering, vessels of wrath fitted for destruction, | What if God, desiring to let his wrath and his power be seen, for a long time put up with the vessels of wrath which were ready for destruction: |
