John 2:1And the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there.And the third day a marriage happened in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there,And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
John 2:2And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the marriage.and also Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage;And Jesus also, and his disciples, were invited to the marriage.
John 2:3And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus saith to him: They have no wine.and wine having failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, `Wine they have not;`And wine being deficient, the mother of Jesus says to him, They have no wine.
John 2:4And Jesus saith to her: Woman, what is that to me and to thee? my hour is not yet come.Jesus saith to her, `What to me and to thee, woman? not yet is mine hour come.`Jesus says to her, What have I to do with thee, woman? mine hour has not yet come.
John 2:5His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye.His mother saith to the ministrants, `Whatever he may say to you do.`His mother says to the servants, Whatever he may say to you, do.
John 2:6Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece.And there were there six water-jugs of stone, placed according to the purifying of the Jews, holding each two or three measures.Now there were standing there six stone water-vessels, according to the purification of the Jews, holding two or three measures each.
John 2:7Jesus saith to them: Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.Jesus saith to them, `Fill the water-jugs with water;` and they filled them unto the brim;Jesus says to them, Fill the water-vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
John 2:8And Jesus saith to them: Draw out now, and carry to the chief steward of the feast. And they carried it.and he saith to them, `Draw out, now, and bear to the director of the apartment;` and they bare.And he says to them, Draw out now, and carry [it] to the feast-master. And they carried [it].
John 2:9And when the chief steward had tasted the water made wine, and knew not whence it was, but the waiters knew who had drawn the water; the chief steward calleth the bridegroom,And as the director of the apartment tasted the water become wine, and knew not whence it is, (but the ministrants knew, who have drawn the water,) the director of the feast doth call the bridegroom,But when the feast-master had tasted the water which had been made wine (and knew not whence it was, but the servants knew who drew the water), the feast-master calls the bridegroom,
John 2:10And saith to him: Every man at first setteth forth good wine, and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse. But thou hast kept the good wine until now.and saith to him, `Every man, at first, the good wine doth set forth; and when they may have drunk freely, then the inferior; thou didst keep the good wine till now.`and says to him, Every man sets on first the good wine, and when [men] have well drunk, then the inferior; thou hast kept the good wine till now.
John 2:11This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee; and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him.This beginning of the signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him;This beginning of signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
John 2:12After this he went down to Capharnaum, he and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they remained there not many days.after this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and there they remained not many days.After this he descended to Capernaum, he and his mother and his brethren and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.
John 2:13And the pasch of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.And the passover of the Jews was nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,And the passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
John 2:14And he found in the temple them that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting.and he found in the temple those selling oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting,And he found in the temple the sellers of oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting;
John 2:15And when he had made, as it were, a scourge of little cords, he drove them all out of the temple, the sheep also and the oxen, and the money of the changers he poured out, and the tables he overthrew.and having made a whip of small cords, he put all forth out of the temple, also the sheep, and the oxen; and of the money-changers he poured out the coins, and the tables he overthrew,and, having made a scourge of cords, he cast [them] all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the change of the money-changers, and overturned the tables,
John 2:16And to them that sold doves he said: Take these things hence, and make not the house of my Father a house of traffic.and to those selling the doves he said, `Take these things hence; make not the house of my Father a house of merchandise.`and said to the sellers of doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
John 2:17And his disciples remembered, that it was written: The zeal of thy house hath eaten me up.And his disciples remembered that it is written, `The zeal of Thy house did eat me up;`[And] his disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thy house devours me.
John 2:18The Jews, therefore, answered, and said to him: What sign dost thou shew unto us, seeing thou dost these things?the Jews then answered and said to him, `What sign dost thou shew to us that thou dost these things?`The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign shewest thou to us, that thou doest these things?
John 2:19Jesus answered, and said to them: Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.Jesus answered and said to them, `Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up.`Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 2:20The Jews then said: Six and forty years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?The Jews, therefore, said, `Forty and six years was this sanctuary building, and wilt thou in three days raise it up?`The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple building, and thou wilt raise it up in three days?
John 2:21But he spoke of the temple of his body.but he spake concerning the sanctuary of his body;But *he* spoke of the temple of his body.
John 2:22When therefore he was risen again from the dead, his disciples remembered, that he had said this, and they believed the scripture, and the word that Jesus had said.when, then, he was raised out of the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this to them, and they believed the Writing, and the word that Jesus said.When therefore he was raised from among [the] dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.
John 2:23Now when he was at Jerusalem, at the pasch, upon the festival day, many believed in his name, seeing his signs which he did.And as he was in Jerusalem, in the passover, in the feast, many believed in his name, beholding his signs that he was doing;And when he was in Jerusalem, at the passover, at the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he wrought.
John 2:24But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,and Jesus himself was not trusting himself to them, because of his knowing all [men],But Jesus himself did not trust himself to them, because he knew all [men],
John 2:25And because he needed not that any should give testimony of man: for he knew what was in man.and because he had no need that any should testify concerning man, for he himself was knowing what was in man.and that he had not need that any should testify of man, for himself knew what was in man.
