| John 9:1 | And Jesus passing by, saw a man, who was blind from his birth: | And passing by, he saw a man blind from birth, | And as he passed on, he saw a man blind from birth. |
| John 9:2 | And his disciples asked him: Rabbi, who hath sinned, this man, or his parents, that he should be born blind? | and his disciples asked him, saying, `Rabbi, who did sin, this one or his parents, that he should be born blind?` | And his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this [man] or his parents, that he should be born blind? |
