Matthew 14:2 | And he said to his servants: This is John the Baptist: he is risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works shew forth themselves in him. | and said to his servants, `This is John the Baptist, he did rise from the dead, and because of this the mighty energies are working in him.` | and said to his servants, This is John the baptist: *he* is risen from the dead, and because of this these works of power display their force in him. |
Matthew 14:3 | For Herod had apprehended John and bound him, and put him into prison, because of Herodias, his brother's wife. | For Herod having laid hold on John, did bind him, and did put him in prison, because of Herodias his brother Philip`s wife, | For Herod had seized John, and had bound him and put him in prison on account of Herodias the wife of Philip his brother. |

Matthew 14:15 | And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying: This is a desert place, and the hour is now past: send away the multitudes, that going into the towns, they may buy themselves victuals. | and evening having come, his disciples came to him, saying, `The place is desolate, and the hour hath now past, let away the multitudes that, having gone to the villages, they may buy to themselves food.` | But when even was come, his disciples came to him saying, The place is desert, and [much of] the [day] time already gone by; dismiss the crowds, that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves. |
Matthew 14:16 | But Jesus said to them, They have no need to go: give you them to eat. | And Jesus said to them, `They have no need to go away give ye them to eat.` | But Jesus said to them, They have no need to go: give *ye* them to eat. |
Matthew 14:17 | They answered him: We have not here, but five loaves, and two fishes. | And they say to him, `We have not here except five loaves, and two fishes.` | But they say to him, We have not here save five loaves and two fishes. |
Matthew 14:18 | He said to them: Bring them hither to me. | And he said, `Bring ye them to me hither.` | And he said, Bring them here to me. |

Matthew 14:29 | And he said: Come. Matthew 14:31 | And immediately Jesus stretching forth his hand took hold of him, and said to him: O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? | And immediately Jesus, having stretched forth the hand, laid hold of him, and saith to him, `Little faith! for what didst thou waver?` | And immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught hold of him, and says to him, O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? |
Matthew 14:32 | And when they were come up into the boat, the wind ceased. | and they having gone to the boat the wind lulled, | And when they had gone up into the ship, the wind fell. |

Matthew 14:36 | And they besought him that they might touch but the hem of his garment.
