| Numbers 30:1 | And Moses told the children of Israel all that the Lord had commanded him : | And Moses speaketh unto the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, `This [is] the thing which Jehovah hath commanded: | And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This is what Jehovah hath commanded. |
| Numbers 30:2 | And he said to the princes of the tribes of the children of Israel: This is the word that the Lord hath commanded: | `When a man voweth a vow to Jehovah, or hath sworn an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he doth not pollute his word; according to all that is going out from his mouth he doth. | If a man vow a vow to Jehovah, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; according to all that hath gone out of his mouth shall he do. |
| Numbers 30:3 | If any man make a vow to the Lord, or bind himself by an oath: he shall not make his word void but shall fulfil all that he promised. | `And when a woman voweth a vow to Jehovah, and hath bound a bond in the house of her father in her youth, | If a woman also vow a vow to Jehovah, and bind herself by a bond, in her father's house in her youth, |
| Numbers 30:4 | If a woman vow any thing, and bind herself by an oath, being in her father's house, and but yet a girl in age: if her father knew the vow that she hath promised, and the oath wherewith she hath bound her soul, and held his peace, she shall be bound by the vow: | and her father hath heard her vow, and her bond which she hath bound on her soul, and her father hath kept silent at her, then have all her vows been established, and every bond which she hath bound on her soul is established. | and her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall be silent at her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. |
| Numbers 30:5 | Whatsoever she promised and swore, she shall fulfil in deed. | `And if her father hath disallowed her in the day of his hearing, none of her vows and her bonds which she hath bound on her soul is established, and Jehovah is propitious to her, for her father hath disallowed her. | But if her father prohibited her in the day that he heard, none of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand; and Jehovah shall pardon her, because her father prohibited her. |
| Numbers 30:6 | But if her father, immediately as soon as he heard it, gainsaid it, both her vows and her oaths shall be void, neither shall she be bound to what she promised, because her father hath gainsaid it. | `And if she be at all to a husband, and her vows [are] on her, or a wrongful utterance [on] her lips, which she hath bound on her soul, | And if she have a husband, when she hath her vow upon her or ought that hath passed her lips wherewith she hath bound her soul, |
| Numbers 30:7 | If she have a husband, and shall vow any thing, and the word once going out of her mouth shall bind her soul by an oath: | and her husband hath heard, and in the day of his hearing, he hath kept silent at her, then have her vows been established, and her bonds which she hath bound on her soul are established. | and her husband hear it and be silent at her in the day that he heareth it, then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. |
| Numbers 30:8 | The day that her husband shall hear it, and not gainsay it, she shall be bound to the vow, and shall give whatsoever she promised. | `And if in the day of her husband`s hearing he disalloweth her, then he hath broken her vow which [is] on her, and the wrongful utterance of her lips which she hath bound on her soul, and Jehovah is propitious to her. | But if her husband prohibit her on the day that he heareth it, and annul her vow which is upon her, and what hath passed her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul, then Jehovah shall pardon her. |
| Numbers 30:9 | But if as soon as he heareth he gainsay it, and make her promises and the words wherewith she had bound her soul of no effect : the Lord will forgive her. | `As to the vow of a widow or cast-out woman, all that she hath bound on her soul is established on her. | But the vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, everything wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand against her. |
| Numbers 30:10 | The widow, and she that is divorced, shall fulfil whatsoever they vow. | `And if [in] the house of her husband she hath vowed, or hath bound a bond on her soul with an oath, | And if she have vowed in her husband's house, or have bound her soul by an oath with a bond, |
| Numbers 30:11 | If the wife in the house of her husband, hath bound herself by vow and by oath, | and her husband hath heard, and hath kept silent at her he hath not disallowed her then have all her vows been established, and every bond which she hath bound on her soul is established. | and her husband have heard it, and been silent at her, and hath not prohibited her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. |
| Numbers 30:12 | If her husband hear, and hold his peace, and doth not disallow the promise, she shall accomplish whatsoever she had promised. | `And if her husband doth certainly break them in the day of his hearing, none of the outgoing of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, is established her husband hath broken them and Jehovah is propitious to her. | But if her husband have expressly annulled them on the day that he heard them, then nothing of that which is gone out of her lips as to her vows or the bond on her soul, shall stand: her husband hath annulled them; and Jehovah will pardon her. |
| Numbers 30:13 | But if forthwith he gainsay it, she shall not be bound by the promise: because her husband gainsaid it, and the Lord will be merciful to her. | `Every vow and every oath a bond to humble a soul her husband doth establish it, or her husband doth break it; | Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband can establish it, or her husband can annul it. |
| Numbers 30:14 | If she vow and bind herself by oath, to afflict her soul by fasting, or abstinence from other things, it shall depend on the will of her husband, whether she shall do it, or not do it. | and if her husband certainly keep silent at her, from day unto day, then he hath established all her vows, or all her bonds which [are] upon her; he hath established them, for he hath kept silent at her in the day of his hearing; | And if her husband be altogether silent at her from day to day, then he hath established all her vows or all her bonds which are upon her; he hath confirmed them, for he hath been silent at her in the day that he heard them. |
| Numbers 30:15 | But if the husband hearing it hold his peace, and defer the declaring his mind till another day: whatsoever she had vowed and promised, she shall fulfil: because immediately as he heard it, he held his peace. | and if he doth at all break them after his hearing, then he hath borne her iniquity.` | But if he in any way annul them after he hath heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity. |
| Numbers 30:16 | But if he gainsay it after that he knew it, he shall bear her iniquity. | These [are] the statutes which Jehovah hath commanded Moses between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth, [in] the house of her father. | These are the statutes, which Jehovah commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth in her father's house. |
| Numbers 30:17 | These are the laws which the Lord appointed to Moses between the husband and the wife, between the father and the daughter that is as yet but a girl in age, or that abideth in her father's house. | | |
