Matthew 24:1 | And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple. | And having gone forth, Jesus departed from the temple, and his disciples came near to show him the buildings of the temple, | And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. |
Matthew 24:2 | And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed. | and Jesus said to them, `Do ye not see all these? verily I say to you, There may not be left here a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down.` | And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. |
Matthew 24:3 | And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world? | And when he is sitting on the mount of the Olives, the disciples came near to him by himself, saying, `Tell us, when shall these be? and what [is] the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age?` | And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? |
Matthew 24:4 | And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you: | And Jesus answering said to them, `Take heed that no one may lead you astray, | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. |
Matthew 24:5 | For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many. | for many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and they shall lead many astray, | For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. |
Matthew 24:6 | And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled.
