Titus 1:3But hath in due times manifested his word in preaching, which is committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior:(and He manifested in proper times His word,) in preaching, which I was entrusted with, according to a charge of God our Saviour,But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
Titus 1:4To Titus my beloved son, according to the common faith, grace and peace from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus our Savior.to Titus true child according to a common faith: Grace, kindness, peace, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour!To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Titus 1:5For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and shouldest ordain priests in every city, as I also appointed thee:For this cause left I thee in Crete, that the things lacking thou mayest arrange, and mayest set down in every city elders, as I did appoint to thee;For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
Titus 1:6If any be without crime, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of riot, or unruly.if any one is blameless, of one wife a husband, having children stedfast, not under accusation of riotous living or insubordinateIf any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
Titus 1:7For a bishop must be without crime, as the steward of God: not proud, not subject to anger, not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre:for it behoveth the overseer to be blameless, as God`s steward, not self-pleased, nor irascible, not given to wine, not a striker, not given to filthy lucre;For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Titus 1:8But given to hospitality, gentle, sober, just, holy, continent:but a lover of strangers, a lover of good men, sober-minded, righteous, kind, self-controlled,But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Titus 1:9Embracing that faithful word which is according to doctrine, that he may be able to exhort in sound doctrine, and to convince the gainsayers.holding according to the teaching to the stedfast word, that he may be able also to exhort in the sound teaching, and the gainsayers to convict;Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Titus 1:10For there are also many disobedient, vain talkers, and seducers: especially they who are of the circumcision:for there are many both insubordinate, vain-talkers, and mind-deceivers especially they of the circumcisionFor there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
Titus 1:11Who must be reproved, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.whose mouth it behoveth to stop, who whole households do overturn, teaching what things it behoveth not, for filthy lucre`s sake.Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
Titus 1:12One of them a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slothful bellies.A certain one of them, a prophet of their own, said `Cretans! always liars, evil beasts, lazy bellies!`One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

Titus 1:15All things are clean to the clean: but to them that are defiled, and to unbelievers, nothing is clean: but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.all things, indeed, [are] pure to the pure, and to the defiled and unstedfast [is] nothing pure, but of them defiled [are] even the mind and the conscience;Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
