| Exodus 27:1 | Thou shalt make also an altar of setim wood, which shall be five cubits long and as many broad, that is, foursquare, and three cubits high. | `And thou hast made the altar of shittim wood, five cubits the length, and five cubits the breadth the altar is square and three cubits its height. | |
| Exodus 27:2 | And there shall be horns at the four corners of the same: and thou shalt cover it with brass. | And thou hast made its horns on its four corners, its horns are of the same, and thou hast overlaid it [with] brass. | |
| Exodus 27:3 | And thou shalt make for the uses thereof pans to receive the ashes, and tongs and fleshhooks, and firepans: all its vessels thou shalt make of brass. | And thou hast made its pots to remove its ashes, and its shovels, and its bowls, and its forks, and its fire-pans, even all its vessels thou dost make of brass. | |
| Exodus 27:4 | And a grate of brass in manner of a net: at the four corners of which shall be four rings of brass, | `And thou hast made for it a grate of net-work of brass, and hast made on the net four rings of brass on its four extremities, | |
| Exodus 27:5 | Which thou shalt put under the hearth of the altar: and the grate shall be even to the midst of the altar. | and hast put it under the compass of the altar beneath, and the net hath been unto the middle of the altar. | |
| Exodus 27:6 | Thou shalt make also two bars for the altar of setim wood, which thou shalt cover with plates of brass: | `And thou hast made staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and hast overlaid them [with] brass. | |
| Exodus 27:7 | And thou shalt draw them through rings, and they shall be on both sides of the altar to carry it. | And the staves have been brought into the rings, and the staves have been on the two sides of the altar in bearing it. | |
| Exodus 27:8 | Thou shalt not make it solid, but empty and hollow in the inside, as it was shewn thee in the mount. | Hollow with boards thou dost make it, as it hath been shewed thee in the mount, so do they make [it]. | |
| Exodus 27:9 | Thou shalt make also the court of the tabernacle, in the south side whereof southward there shall be hangings of fine twisted linen of a hundred cubits long for one side. | `And thou hast made the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward, hangings for the court of twined linen, a hundred by the cubit [is] the length for the one side, | |
| Exodus 27:10 | And twenty pillars with as many sockets of brass, the heads of which with their engraving of silver. | and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets [are] of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets [are] of silver; | |
| Exodus 27:11 | In like manner also on the north side there shall be hangings of a hundred cubits long, twenty pillars, and as many sockets of brass, and their heads with their engraving of silver. | and so for the north side in length, hangings of a hundred [cubits] in length, and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets [are] of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets [are] of silver. | |
| Exodus 27:12 | But in the breadth of the court, that looketh to the west, there shall be hangings of fifty cubits, and ten pillars, and as many sockets. | `And [for] the breadth of the court at the west side [are] hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. | |
| Exodus 27:13 | In that breadth also of the court, which looketh to the east, there shall be fifty cubits. | And [for] the breadth of the court at the east side, eastward, [are] fifty cubits. | |
| Exodus 27:14 | In which there shall be for one side hangings of fifteen cubits, and three pillars and as many sockets. | And the hangings at the side [are] fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three. | |
| Exodus 27:15 | And in the other side there shall be hangings of fifteen cubits, with three pillars and as many sockets. | And at the second side [are] hangings fifteen [cubits], their pillars three, and their sockets three. | |
| Exodus 27:16 | And in the entrance of the court there shall be made a hanging of twenty cubits of violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, with embroidered work: it shall have four pillars with as many sockets. | `And for the gate of the court a covering of twenty cubits, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of an embroiderer; their pillars four, their sockets four. | |
| Exodus 27:17 | All the pillars of the court round about shall be garnished with plates of silver, silver heads and sockets of brass. | All the pillars of the court round about [are] filleted [with] silver, their pegs [are] silver, and their sockets brass. | |
| Exodus 27:18 | In length the court shall take up a hundred cubits, in breadth fifty, the height shall be of five cubits, and it shall be made of fine twisted linen, and shall have sockets of brass. | `The length of the court [is] a hundred by the cubit, and the breadth fifty by fifty, and the height five cubits, of twined linen, and their sockets [are] brass, | |
| Exodus 27:19 | All the vessels of the tabernacle for all uses and ceremonies, and the pins both of it, and of the court, thou shalt make of brass. | even all the vessels of the tabernacle, in all its service, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, [are] brass. | |
| Exodus 27:20 | Command the children of Israel that they bring thee the purest oil of the olives, and beaten with a pestle: that a lamp may burn always, | `And thou thou dost command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause the lamp to go up continually; | |
| Exodus 27:21 | In the tabernacle of the testimony without the veil that hangs before the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall order it, that it may give light before the Lord until the morning. It shall be a perpetual observance throughout their successions among the children of Israel. | in the tent of meeting, at the outside of the vail, which [is] over the testimony, doth Aaron his sons also arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah a statute age-during to their generations, from the sons of Israel. | |
