| 2nd-Peter 3:1 | Behold this second epistle I write to you, my dearly beloved, in which I stir up by way of admonition your sincere mind: | This, now, beloved, a second letter to you I write, in both which I stir up your pure mind in reminding [you], | This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you; |
| 2nd-Peter 3:2 | That you may be mindful of those words which I told you before from the holy prophets, and of your apostles, of the precepts of the Lord and Saviour. | to be mindful of the sayings said before by the holy prophets, and of the command of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour, | that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior: |

In those are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they do also to the other scriptures, to their own destruction. |
