Exodus 25:1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, And the Lord said to Moses,And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Exodus 25:2Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. Say to the children of Israel that they are to make me an offering; from every man who has the impulse in his heart take an offering for me.Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring firstfruits to me: of every man that offereth of his own accord, you shall take them.
Exodus 25:3And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, And this is the offering you are to take from them: gold and silver and brass;And these are the things you must take: gold, and silver, and brass,
Exodus 25:4And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, And blue and purple and red, and the best linen, and goats' hair;Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
Exodus 25:5And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, And sheepskins coloured red, and leather, and hard wood;And rams' skins dyed red, and violet skins, and setim wood:
Exodus 25:6Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, Oil for the light, spices for the sweet-smelling oil, sweet perfumes for burning;Oil to make lights: spices for ointment, and for sweetsmelling incense:
Exodus 25:7Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. Beryls and stones of value to be put on the ephod and on the priest's bag.Onyx stones, and precious stones to adorn the ephod and the rational.
Exodus 25:8And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. And let them make me a holy place, so that I may be ever present among them.And they shall make me a sanctuary, and I will dwell in the midst of them:
Exodus 25:9According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. Make the House and everything in it from the designs which I will give you.According to all the likeness of the tabernacle which I will shew thee, and of all the vessels for the service thereof: and thus you shall make it:
Exodus 25:10And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. And they are to make an ark of hard wood; two and a half cubits long, and a cubit and a half wide and high.Frame an ark of setim wood, the length whereof shall be of two cubits and a half: the breadth, a cubit and a half: the height, likewise, a cubit and a half.
Exodus 25:11And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. It is to be plated inside and out with the best gold, with an edge of gold all round itAnd thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold within and without: and over it thou shalt make a golden crown round about:
Exodus 25:12And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it. And make four rings of gold for it, to be fixed on its four feet, two rings on one side of it and two on the other.And four golden rings, which thou shall put at the four corners of the ark: let two rings be on the one side, and two on the other.
Exodus 25:13And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. And make rods of the same wood, plating them with gold.Thou shalt make bars also of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold.
Exodus 25:14And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. And put the rods through the rings at the sides of the ark, for lifting it.And thou shalt put them in through the rings that are in the sides of the ark, that it may be carried on them.
Exodus 25:15The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. The rods are to be kept in the rings, and never taken out.And they shall be always in the rings, neither shall they at any time be drawn out of them.
Exodus 25:16And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. Inside the ark you are to put the record which I will give you.And thou shalt put in the ark the testimony which I will give thee.
Exodus 25:17And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And you are to make a cover of the best gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.Thou shalt make also a propitiatory of the purest gold: the length thereof shall be two cubits and a half, and the breadth a cubit and a half.
Exodus 25:18And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And at the two ends of the cover you are to make two winged ones of hammered gold,Thou shalt make also two cherubims of beaten gold, on the two sides of the oracle.
Exodus 25:19And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. One at one end and one at the other; the winged ones are to be part of the cover.Let one cherub be on the one side, and the other on the other.
Exodus 25:20And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. And their wings are to be outstretched over the cover, and the winged ones are to be opposite one another, facing the cover.Let them cover both sides of the propitiatory, spreading their wings, and covering the oracle, and let them look one towards the other, their faces being turned towards the propitiatory wherewith the ark is to be covered.
Exodus 25:21And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. And put the cover over the ark, and in the ark the record which I will give you.In which thou shalt put the testimony that I will give thee.
Exodus 25:22And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. And there, between the two winged ones on the cover of the ark, I will come to you, face to face, and make clear to you all the orders I have to give you for the children of Israel.Thence will I give orders, and will speak to thee over the propitiatory, and from the midst of the two cherubims, which shall be upon the ark of the testimony, all things which I will command the children of Israel by thee.
Exodus 25:23Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. And you are to make a table of the same wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high,Thou shalt make a table also of setim wood, of two cubits in length, and a cubit in breadth, and a cubit and half in height.
Exodus 25:24And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. Plated with the best gold, with a gold edge all round it;And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold: and thou shalt make to it a golden ledge round about.
Exodus 25:25And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about. And make a frame all round it, as wide as a man's hand, with a gold edge to the frame.And to the ledge itself a polished crown, four inches high: and over the same another little golden crown.
Exodus 25:26And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof. And make four gold rings and put them at the four angles, on the four feet of the table;Thou shalt prepare also four golden rings, and shalt put them in the four corners of the same table over each foot.
Exodus 25:27Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table. The rings are to be fixed under the frame to take the rods with which the table is to be lifted.Under the crown shall the golden rings be, that the bars may be put through them, and the table may be carried.
Exodus 25:28And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them. Make rods of the same wood, plated with gold, for lifting the table.The bars also themselves thou shalt make of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold to bear up the table.
Exodus 25:29And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them. And make the table-vessels, the spoons and the cups and the basins for liquids, all of the best gold.Thou shalt prepare also dishes, and bowls, censers, and cups, wherein the libations are to be offered of the purest gold.
Exodus 25:30And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway. And on the table at all times you are to keep my holy bread.And thou shalt set upon the table loaves of proposition in my sight always.
Exodus 25:31And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. And you are to make a support for lights, of the best gold; its base and its pillar are to be of hammered gold; its cups, its buds, and its flowers are to be made of the same metal.Thou shalt make also a candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold, the shaft thereof, and the branches, the cups, and the bowls, and the lilies going forth from it.
Exodus 25:32And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: It is to have six branches coming out from its sides; three branches from one side and three from the other.Six branches shall come out of the sides, three out of the one side, and three out of the other.
Exodus 25:33Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. Every branch having three cups made like almond flowers, every cup with a bud and a flower, on all the branches.Three cups as it were nuts to every branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily; and three cups, likewise of the fashion of nuts in the other branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily. Such shall be the work of the six branches, that are to come out from the shaft:
Exodus 25:34And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers. And on the pillar, four cups like almond flowers, every one with its bud and its flower:And in the candlestick itself shall be four cups in the manner of a nut, and at every one, bowls and lilies.
Exodus 25:35And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. And under every two branches a bud, made with the branch, for all the six branches of it.Bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six coming forth out of one shaft.
Exodus 25:36Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold. The buds and the branches are to be made of the same metal; all together one complete work of hammered gold.And both the bowls and the branches shall be of the same beaten work of the purest gold.
Exodus 25:37And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it. Then you are to make its seven vessels for the lights, putting them in their place so that they give light in front of it.Thou shalt make also seven lamps, and shalt set them upon the candlestick, to give light over against.
Exodus 25:38And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold. And the instruments and trays for use with it are all to be of the best gold.The snuffers also and where the snuffings shall be put out, shall be made of the purest gold.
Exodus 25:39Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels. A talent of gold will be needed for it, with all these vessels.The whole weight of the candlestick with all the furniture thereof shall be a talent of the purest gold.
Exodus 25:40And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. And see that you make them from the design which you saw on the mountain.Look and make it according to the pattern, that was shewn thee in the mount.
