Numbers 2:1And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
Numbers 2:2Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch. The children of Israel are to put up their tents in the order of their families, by the flags of their fathers' houses, facing the Tent of meeting on every side.All the children of Israel shall camp by their troops, ensigns, and standards, and the houses of their kindreds, round about the tabernacle of the covenant.
Numbers 2:3And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah. Those whose tents are on the east side, looking to the dawn, will be round the flag of the children of Judah, with Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, as their chief.On the east Juda shall pitch his tents by the bands of his army: and the prince of his sons shall be Nahasson the son of Aminadab.
Numbers 2:4And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred. The number of his army was seventy-four thousand, six hundred.And the whole sum of the fighting men of his stock, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
Numbers 2:5And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar. And nearest to him will be the tribe of Issachar, with Nethanel, the son of Zuar, as their chief.Next unto him they of the tribe of Issachar encamped, whose prince was Nathanael, the son of Suar.
Numbers 2:6And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred. The number of his army was fifty-four thousand, four hundred.And the whole number of his fighting men were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
Numbers 2:7Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun. After him, the tribe of Zebulun, with Eliab, the son of Helon, as their chief.In the tribe of Zabulon the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.
Numbers 2:8And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred. The number of his army was fifty-seven thousand, four hundred.And all the army of fighting men of his stock, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
Numbers 2:9All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth. The number of all the armies of Judah was a hundred and eighty-six thousand, four hundred. They go forward first.All that were numbered in the camp of Juda, were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: and they by their troops shall march first.
Numbers 2:10On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur. On the south side is the flag of the children of Reuben, in the order of their armies, with Elizur, the son of Shedeur, as their chief.In the camp of the sons of Ruben, on the south side, the prince shall be Elisur the son of Sedeur:
Numbers 2:11And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred. The number of his army was forty-six thousand, five hundred.And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
Numbers 2:12And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. And nearest to him, the tribe of Simeon, with Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai, as their chief.Beside him camped they of the tribe of Simeon: whose prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.
Numbers 2:13And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred. The number of his army was fifty-nine thousand, three hundred.And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
Numbers 2:14Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel. Then the tribe of Gad, with Eliasaph, son of Reuel, as their chief.In the tribe of Gad the prince was Eliasaph the son of Duel.
Numbers 2:15And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty. The number of his army was forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty.And the whole army of his fighting men that were numbered, were forty- five thousand six hundred and fifty.
Numbers 2:16All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank. The number of all the armies of Reuben together came to a hundred and fifty-one thousand, four hundred and fifty. They go forward second.All that were reckoned up in the camp of Ruben, were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, by their troops: they shall march in the second place.
Numbers 2:17Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards. Then the Tent of meeting is to go forward, with the tents of the Levites, in the middle of the armies; in the same order as their tents are placed, they are to go forward, every man under his flag.And the tabernacle of the testimony shall be carried by the officers of the Levites and their troops. As it shall be set up, so shall it be taken down. Every one shall march according to their places, and ranks.
Numbers 2:18On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud. On the west side will be the flag of the children of Ephraim, with Elishama, the son of Ammihud, as their chief.On the west side shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose prince was Elisama, the son of Ammiud.
Numbers 2:19And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred. The number of his army was forty thousand, five hundred.The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.
Numbers 2:20And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. And by him the tribe of Manasseh with Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur, as their chief.And with them the tribe of the sons of Manasses, whose prince was Gamaliel the son of Phadassur.
Numbers 2:21And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred. The number of his army was thirty-two thousand, two hundred.And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
Numbers 2:22Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni. Then the tribe of Benjamin, with Abidan, the son of Gideoni, as their chief.In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin the prince was Abidan the son of Gedeon.
Numbers 2:23And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred. The number of his army was thirty-five thousand, four hundred.And the whole army of his fighting men, that were reckoned up, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
Numbers 2:24All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank. The number of all the armies of Ephraim was a hundred and eight thousand, one hundred. They go forward third.All that were numbered in the camp of Ephraim, were a hundred and eight thousand one hundred by their troops: they shall march in the third place.
Numbers 2:25The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. On the north side will be the flag of the children of Dan, with Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai, as their chief.On the north side camped the sons of Dan: whose prince was Ahiezar the son of Ammisaddai.
Numbers 2:26And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred. The number of his army was sixty-two thousand, seven hundred.The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
Numbers 2:27And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran. Nearest to him will be the tribe of Asher, with Pagiel, the son of Ochran, as their chief.Beside him they of the tribe of Aser pitched their tents: whose prince was Phegiel the son of Ochran.
Numbers 2:28And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred. The number of his army was forty-one thousand, five hundred;The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
Numbers 2:29Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan. Then the tribe of Naphtali, with Ahira, the son of Enan, as their chief.Of the tribe of the sons of Nephtali the prince was Ahira the son of Enan.
Numbers 2:30And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred. The number of his army was fifty-three thousand, four hundred.The whole army of his fighting men, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Numbers 2:31All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards. The number of all the armies in the tents of Dan was a hundred and fifty-seven thousand, six hundred. They will go forward last, by their flags.All that were numbered in the camp of Dan, were a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred: and they shall march last.
Numbers 2:32These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty. These are all who were numbered of the children of Israel, in the order of their fathers' families: all the armies in their tents together came to six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.This is the number of the children of Israel, of their army divided according to the houses of their kindreds and their troops, six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
Numbers 2:33But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses. But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, as the Lord said to Moses.And the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel: for so the Lord had commanded Moses.
Numbers 2:34And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers. So the children of Israel did as the Lord said to Moses, so they put up their tents by their flags, and they went forward in the same order, by their families, and by their fathers' houses.And the children of Israel did according to all things that the Lord had commanded. They camped by their troops, and marched by the families and houses of their fathers.
