| John 16:1 | These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. | These things I have spoken unto you that ye may not be offended. | These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be caused to stumble. |
| John 16:2 | They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. | They shall put you out of the synagogues; but the hour is coming that every one who kills you will think to render service to God; | They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you shall think that he offereth service unto God. |
| John 16:3 | And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. | and these things they will do because they have not known the Father nor me. | And these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me. |
| John 16:4 | But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. | John 16:7 | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. | But I say the truth to you, It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go I will send him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. |
