| Leviticus 11:1 | And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, | And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them, | And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, |
| Leviticus 11:2 | Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. | Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the animals which ye shall eat of all the beasts which are on the earth. | Say to the children of Israel: These are the living things which you may have for food among all the beasts on the earth. |
| Leviticus 11:3 | Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. | Whatever hath cloven hoofs, and feet quite split open, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts that shall ye eat. | You may have as food any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot, and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again. |
| Leviticus 11:4 | Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. | Only these shall ye not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those with cloven hoofs: the camel, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs it shall be unclean unto you; | But, at the same time, of those beasts, you may not take for food the camel, because its food comes back but the horn of its foot is not parted in two; it is unclean to you. |

| Leviticus 11:11 | They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. | They shall be even an abomination unto you: of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase ye shall have in abomination. | They may not be used for food, and their dead bodies are disgusting to you. |

| Leviticus 11:17 | And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, | and the owl, and the gannet, and the ibis, | And the little owl and the cormorant and the great owl; |
| Leviticus 11:18 | And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, | and the swan, and the pelican, and the carrion vulture, | And the water-hen and the pelican and the vulture; |
| Leviticus 11:19 | And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. | and the stork; the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat. | The stork and the heron, and birds of that sort, and the hoopoe and the bat. |
| Leviticus 11:20 | All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. | Every winged crawling thing that goeth upon all four shall be an abomination unto you. | Every winged four-footed thing which goes on the earth is disgusting to you; |
| Leviticus 11:21 | Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; | Yet these shall ye eat of every winged crawling thing that goeth upon all four: those which have legs above their feet with which to leap upon the earth. | But of the winged four-footed things, those which have long legs for jumping on the earth you may have for food; |
| Leviticus 11:22 | Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. | These shall ye eat of them: the arbeh after its kind, and the solam after its kind, and the hargol after its kind, and the hargab after its kind. | Such as all the different sorts of locust. |

| Leviticus 11:31 | These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even. | These shall be unclean unto you among all that crawl: whoever toucheth them when they are dead, shall be unclean until the even. | All these are unclean to you: anyone touching them when they are dead will be unclean till evening. |
| Leviticus 11:32 | And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed. | And on whatever any of them when they are dead doth fall, it shall be unclean; all vessels of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack, every vessel wherewith work is done it shall be put into water, and be unclean until the even; then shall it be clean. | The dead body of any of these, falling on anything, will make that thing unclean; if it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or bag, whatever it is, if it is used for any purpose, it will have to be put into water, and will be unclean till evening; after that it will be clean. |

| Leviticus 11:38 | But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you. | but if water have been put on the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you. | But if water is put on the seed, and any part of the dead body gets on to it, it will be unclean to you. |
| Leviticus 11:39 | And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even. | And if any beast which is to you for food die, he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even. | And if any beast which may be used for food comes to a natural death, anyone touching its dead body will be unclean till evening. |

| Leviticus 11:42 | Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination. | Whatever goeth on the belly, and whatever goeth on all four, and all that have a great many feet, of every manner of crawling thing which crawleth on the earth these ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination. | Whatever goes on its stomach or on four feet or has a great number of feet, even all those going flat on the earth, may not be used for food, for they are disgusting. |
