| Romans 6:1 | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? | What will we say then? Will we continue in sin, that grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? | Far be the thought. We who have died to sin, how shall we still live in it? | Certainly not! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? |
| Romans 6:3 | Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? | Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death? | Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? |
| Romans 6:4 | Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. | We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. |

| Romans 6:17 | But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. | But thanks [be] to God, that ye were bondmen of sin, but have obeyed from the heart the form of teaching into which ye were instructed. | But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were servants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto you were delivered. |
