Matthew 9:1 | And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. | And entering into a boat, he passed over the water and came into his own city. | And going on board the ship, he passed over and came to his own city. |
Matthew 9:2 | And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. | And behold they brought to him one sick of the palsy lying in a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man sick of the palsy: Be of good heart, son, thy sins are forgiven thee. | And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, laid upon a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Be of good courage, child; thy sins are forgiven. |

Matthew 9:5 | For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? | Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee: or to say, Arise, and walk? | For which is easier: to say, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Rise up and walk? |
Matthew 9:6 | But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. | But that you may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the man sick of palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house. | But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (then he says to the paralytic,) Rise up, take up thy bed and go to thy house. |

Matthew 9:11 | And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? | And the Pharisees seeing it, said to his disciples: Why doth your master eat with publicans and sinners? | And the Pharisees seeing [it], said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax-gatherers and sinners? |
Matthew 9:12 | But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. | But Jesus hearing it, said: They that are in health need not a physician, but they that are ill. | But [Jesus] hearing it, said, They that are strong have not need of a physician, but those that are ill. |
Matthew 9:13 | But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. | Go then and learn what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice. Matthew 9:15 | And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. | And Jesus said to them: Can the children of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then they shall fast. | And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn so long as the bridegroom is with them? Matthew 9:16 | No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. | And nobody putteth a piece of raw cloth unto an old garment. For it taketh away the fullness thereof from the garment, and there is made a greater rent. | But no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment and a worse rent takes place. |
Matthew 9:17 | Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. | Neither do they put new wine into old bottles. Matthew 9:18 | While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. | And he was speaking these things unto them, behold a certain ruler came up, and adored him, saying: Lord, my daughter is even now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. | As he spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler coming in did homage to him, saying, My daughter has by this died; but come and lay thy hand upon her and she shall live. |

Matthew 9:22 | But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.
