| Daniel 1:1 | In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. | In the third year of the reign of Joakim king of Juda, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and besieged it. | In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Jerusalem, and besieged it. |

| Daniel 1:13 | Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. | And look upon our faces, and the faces of the children that eat of the king's meat: and as thou shalt see, deal with thy servants. | Then let our faces be looked on before you, and the face of the youths who eat of the king's dainties; and as you see, deal with your servants. |
