| Leviticus 24:1 | And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: | Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, |
| Leviticus 24:2 | Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually. | Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee the finest and dearest oil of olives, to furnish the lamps continually, | Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually. |
| Leviticus 24:3 | Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations. | Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall set them from evening until morning before the Lord, by a perpetual service and rite in your generations. | Outside of the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations. |

His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. |

| Leviticus 24:16 | And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death. | And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die: all the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger.
