Matthew 7:1Judge not, that ye be not judged. "Judge not, that you may not be judged;`Judge not, that ye may not be judged,
Matthew 7:2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. for your own judgement will be dealt and your own measure meted to yourselves.for in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you.
Matthew 7:3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? And why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye, and not notice the beam which is in your own eye?`And why dost thou behold the mote that [is] in thy brother`s eye, and the beam that [is] in thine own eye dost not consider?
Matthew 7:4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Or how say to your brother, `Allow me to take the splinter out of your eye,' while the beam is in your own eye?or, how wilt thou say to thy brother, Suffer I may cast out the mote from thine eye, and lo, the beam [is] in thine own eye?
Matthew 7:5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Hypocrite, first take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to remove the splinter from your brother's eye.Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother`s eye.
Matthew 7:6Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. "Give not that which is holy to the dogs, nor throw your pearls to the swine; otherwise they will trample them under their feet and then turn and attack you.`Ye may not give that which is [holy] to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, that they may not trample them among their feet, and having turned may rend you.
Matthew 7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.`Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;
Matthew 7:8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. For it is always he who asks that receives, he who seeks that finds, and he who knocks that has the door opened to him.for every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? What man is there among you, who if his son shall ask him for bread will offer him a stone?`Or what man is of you, of whom, if his son may ask a loaf a stone will he present to him?
Matthew 7:10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? Or if the son shall ask him for a fish will offer him a snake?and if a fish he may ask a serpent will he present to him?
Matthew 7:11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? If you then, imperfect as you are, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!if, therefore, ye being evil, have known good gifts to give to your children, how much more shall your Father who [is] in the heavens give good things to those asking him?
Matthew 7:12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Everything, therefore, be it what it may, that you would have men do to you, do you also the same to them; for in this the Law and the Prophets are summed up.`All things, therefore, whatever ye may will that men may be doing to you, so also do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.
Matthew 7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad the road which leads to ruin, and many there are who enter by it;`Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide [is] the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it;
Matthew 7:14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. because narrow is the gate and contracted the road which leads to Life, and few are those who find it.how strait [is] the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!
Matthew 7:15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. "Beware of the false teachers men who come to you in sheep's fleeces, but beneath that disguise they are ravenous wolves.`But, take heed of the false prophets, who come unto you in sheep`s clothing, and inwardly are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? By their fruits you will easily recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thorns or figs from brambles?From their fruits ye shall know them; do [men] gather from thorns grapes? or from thistles figs?
Matthew 7:17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Just so every good tree produces good fruit, but a poisonous tree produces bad fruit.so every good tree doth yield good fruits, but the bad tree doth yield evil fruits.
Matthew 7:18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor a poisonous tree good fruit.A good tree is not able to yield evil fruits, nor a bad tree to yield good fruits.
Matthew 7:19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Every tree which does not yield good fruit is cut down and thrown aside for burning.Every tree not yielding good fruit is cut down and is cast to fire:
Matthew 7:20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. So by their fruits at any rate, you will easily recognize them.therefore from their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. "Not every one who says to me, `Master, Master,' will enter the Kingdom of the Heavens, but only those who are obedient to my Father who is in Heaven.`Not every one who is saying to me Lord, lord, shall come into the reign of the heavens; but he who is doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens.
Matthew 7:22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Many will say to me on that day, "`Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name expelled demons, and in Thy name performed many mighty works?'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, lord, have we not in thy name prophesied? and in thy name cast out demons? and in thy name done many mighty things?
Matthew 7:23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: "Every one who hears these my teachings and acts upon them will be found to resemble a wise man who builds his house upon rock;`Therefore, every one who doth hear of me these words, and doth do them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock;
Matthew 7:25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. and the heavy rain falls, the swollen torrents come, and the winds blow and beat against the house; yet it does not fall, for its foundation is on rock.and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded on the rock.
Matthew 7:26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And every one who hears these my teachings and does not act upon them will be found to resemble a fool who builds his house upon sand.`And every one who is hearing of me these words, and is not doing them, shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand;
Matthew 7:27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. The heavy rain descends, the swollen torrents come, and the winds blow and burst upon the house, and it falls; and disastrous is the fall."and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.`
Matthew 7:28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: When Jesus had concluded this discourse, the crowds were filled with amazement at His teaching,And it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching,
