| Matthew 7:1 | Judge not, that ye be not judged. | "Judge not, that you may not be judged; | `Judge not, that ye may not be judged, |
| Matthew 7:2 | For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. | for your own judgement will be dealt and your own measure meted to yourselves. | for in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you. |
| Matthew 7:3 | And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? | And why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye, and not notice the beam which is in your own eye? | `And why dost thou behold the mote that [is] in thy brother`s eye, and the beam that [is] in thine own eye dost not consider? |
| Matthew 7:4 | Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? | Or how say to your brother, `Allow me to take the splinter out of your eye,' while the beam is in your own eye? | or, how wilt thou say to thy brother, Suffer I may cast out the mote from thine eye, and lo, the beam [is] in thine own eye? |

| Matthew 7:17 | Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. | Just so every good tree produces good fruit, but a poisonous tree produces bad fruit. | so every good tree doth yield good fruits, but the bad tree doth yield evil fruits. |

| Matthew 7:25 | And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. | and the heavy rain falls, the swollen torrents come, and the winds blow and beat against the house; yet it does not fall, for its foundation is on rock. | and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded on the rock. |
| Matthew 7:26 | And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: | And every one who hears these my teachings and does not act upon them will be found to resemble a fool who builds his house upon sand. | `And every one who is hearing of me these words, and is not doing them, shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; |
