| Luke 19:1 | And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. | And having entered, he was passing through Jericho, | He entered and was passing through Jericho. |
| Luke 19:2 | And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. | and lo, a man, by name called Zaccheus, and he was a chief tax-gatherer, and he was rich, | There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. |
| Luke 19:3 | And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. | and he was seeking to see Jesus, who he is, and was not able for the multitude, because in stature he was small, | He was trying to see who Jesus was, and couldn't because of the crowd, because he was short. |
| Luke 19:4 | And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. | and having run forward before, he went up on a sycamore, that he may see him, because through that [way] he was about to pass by. | He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way. |

If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much." |

| Luke 19:21 | For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. | for I was afraid of thee, because thou art an austere man; thou takest up what thou didst not lay down, and reapest what thou didst not sow. | for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which didn't lay down, and reap that which you didn't sow.' |

Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: | `And he saith to him, Out of thy mouth I will judge thee, evil servant: thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow! | He said to him, 'Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn't lay down, and reaping that which I didn't sow. |
| Luke 19:23 | Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? | and wherefore didst thou not give my money to the bank, and I, having come, with interest might have received it? | Then why didn't you deposit my money in the bank, and I at my coming might have earned interest on it?' |
