| Mark 11:1 | And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, to Bethphage, and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, | And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, | When they were getting near Jerusalem and had arrived at Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples on in front, with these instructions. |
| Mark 11:2 | And saith to them, Go into the village over against you: and as soon as ye have entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, on which never man sat; loose him, and bring him. | and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him. | "Go," He said, "to the village facing you, and immediately on entering it you will find an ass's foal tied up which no one has ever yet ridden: untie him and bring him here. |
| Mark 11:3 | And if any man shall say to you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and immediately he will send him hither. | And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither. | And if any one asks you, `Why are you doing that?' say, `The Master needs it, and will send it back here without delay.'" |
