Romans 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:2For the law of the Spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath made me free from the law of sin and death.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh;
Romans 8:4That the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:5For they that are according to the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh: but they that are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For those who are after the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace:For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace: For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
Romans 8:7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be: because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
Romans 8:8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.and they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
Romans 8:9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. Now if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
Romans 8:10And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness. If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Romans 8:11But if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised Christ from the dead will also revive your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you. But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh: So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Romans 8:13For if ye live according to the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Romans 8:14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
Romans 8:15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba! Father!"
Romans 8:16The Spirit itself testifieth with our spirit, that we are the children of God:The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God: The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;
Romans 8:17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if we suffer with him, that we may be glorified together.and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified with [him]. and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
Romans 8:18For I reckon, that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
Romans 8:19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation waits with eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
Romans 8:20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope:For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hope For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hope
Romans 8:21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the children of God.that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
Romans 8:22For we know that the whole creation groaneth, and travaileth in pain together until now:For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.
Romans 8:23And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for [our] adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body. Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.
Romans 8:24For we are saved by hope: But hope that is seen, is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth? For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?
Romans 8:25But if we hope for what we see not, then with patience we wait for it.But if we hope for that which we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for it. But if we hope for that which we don't see, we wait for it with patience.
Romans 8:26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for [us] with groanings which cannot be uttered; In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.
Romans 8:27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints, according to the will of God.and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.
Romans 8:28And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, [even] to them that are called according to [his] purpose. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren.For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Romans 8:30Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Whom he foreordained, them he also called. Whom he called, them he also justified. Whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 8:31What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us? What then will we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things? He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33Who will lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth:Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth; Who could bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
Romans 8:34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, or rather that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Romans 8:35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
Romans 8:37But in all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8:38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
Romans 8:39Nor hight, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
