| Romans 3:1 | What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? | How then is the Jew better off? or what profit is there in circumcision? | What special privilege, then, has a Jew? Or what benefit is to be derived from circumcision? |
| Romans 3:2 | Much every way: chiefly, because that to them were committed the oracles of God. | Much in every way: first of all because the words of God were given to them. | The privilege is great from every point of view. First of all, because the Jews were entrusted with God's truth. |
